1 | 2019 article | Tcp performance and throughput fairness optimization in a multi-hop pipeline network Ismail @ Ismail Yusuf Panessai Node starvation wireless sensor network (WSN) is a critical factor that affects the overall performance in a typical multi-hop linear network especially in an extensive scale network. The unfairness of sharing network resources with all source nodes in a multi-hop linear network amplifies the node starvation that often results in passive nodes in a network. This factor becomes critical with the increasing network density, aggressive data transfer, single destination node and inadequate data scheduling. This paper highlights the Delayed acknowledgement timeout for flat one-tier throughput critical application model (DAT-FTCAM) a mathematical fairness model that ensure maximum throughput fairness for pipeline network scenario. 2 | 2019 article | PSAP: improving accuracy of students Ismail @ Ismail Yusuf Panessai This study was aimed to increase the performance of the Predicting Student Academic Performance (PSAP) system, and the outcome is to develop a web application that can be used to analyze student performance during present semester. Development of the web-based application was based on the evolutionary prototyping model. The study also analyses the accuracy of the classifier that is constructed for the prediction features in the web application. Qualitative approaches by user evaluation questionnaire were used for this study. A number of few personnel expert users which are lecturers from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris were chosen as respondents. Each respondent is instructed to answer a total of 27 questions regarding respondent’s background and web application design. The accuracy of the classifier for the prediction features is tested by using the confusion matrix by using the test set of 24 rows. 3 | 2019 article | Pembangunan modul interaktif pengukuran kendiri guru terhadap tahap kegunaan harian kandungan pelajaran Ismail @ Ismail Yusuf Panessai Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan sebuah sistem modul interaktif yang boleh digunapakai bagi meneroka dan membina senarai semak pengukuran kendiri guru terhadap kandungan pembelajaran yang signifikan dalam kehidupan harian dan pekerjaan murid pada masa akan datang. Tujuan sistem modul interaktif ini dibangunkan adalah untuk menyumbang kepada guru dalam memilih kandungan pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk pengajaran. Kajian ini akan berfokus pada kandungan mata pelajaran sejarah tingkatan 1 yang melibatkan guru dan murid. Selain itu, dengan wujudnya senarai semak pengukuran kendiri guru, warga pendidik boleh menggunakannya dalam menentukan kandungan pembelajaran yang signifikan dengan kehidupan dan alam pekerjaan murid. Today, in school, students and teachers have been introduce to Internet of Thing (IoT) in technology design subject. It has considered using technology application can motivate and increase performance and student achievement in their learning units. The expected of this research is to find a good tools that can be use both of teachers or students in learning and teaching process especially for subject of Technology and Design. The early component in this apps should be a pop out image with details of electronics components until practical exercise. At the end of the used of this application, users are expected to have clear steps in mind about basic Arduino component and installations.
