Journal of Sports Science and Physical Education 5(2): 44-52, 2016 - The aim of this study is to identify the differences in academic achievement between athletes involved in Karnival Kokurikulum Sukan antara Kolej Matrikulasi (KAKOM) and non-athletes in Labuan Matriculation College. Overall 200 respondents selected athletes are students from KAKOM athletes (n=100) and non-athlete students (n=100) in Semester 1, 2015/2016. The survey design and purposely sampling technique was used for data collection. The respondents are comprised of students majoring in Accounting, One Year Program (PST) Module 1, PST Module 2 and PST Module 3. Descriptive statistic was used to obtain frequency and percentage for each of the variables and to determine the level of academic achievement (CGPA) of athletes and non-athletes. Journal of Sports Science and Physical Education 5(2): 53-60, 2016 – Many previous studies focus on attention has consistently demonstrated that an external focus (movement effect) enhances motor performance and learning relative to an internal focus (body movements). However, the effectiveness of the external focus direction and internal focus on the press behind neck lift not yet again compared among the weightlifter. Therefore, the aim of this study was to identify the three conditions (external focus, internal focus and control) that brings the best performance in the press behind neck. Besides that, a total of 30 athletes Selangor weightlifters performed the pre-test before they are divided into treatment groups (external focus and internal focus) and a control group. Banyak kajian lepas dalam fokus tumpuan secara konsisten menunjukkan fokus luaran (kesan pergerakan) meningkatkan prestasi motor dan pembelajaran berbanding fokus dalaman (pergerakan tubuh badan). Walau bagaimanapun, keberkesanan arahan fokus luaran dan fokus dalaman ke atas angkatan ‘Press Behind Neck’ belum lagi dibandingkan ke atas atlet angkat berat. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti di antara tiga keadaan kumpulan (fokus luaran, fokus dalaman dan kawalan) yang membawa prestasi yang terbaik dalam angkatan ‘Press Behind Neck’. Sejumlah 30 atlet pelapis angkat berat Selangor melakukan ujian pra terlebih dahulu sebelum dibahagikan kepada kumpulan rawatan (fokus luaran dan fokus dalaman) dan kumpulan kawalan. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk membina satu modul pentaksiran kemahiran insaniah melalui mata pelajaran Kokurikulum. Modul pentaksiran ini diadaptasi daripada Sukatan Mata Pelajaran Kokurikulum, Bahagian Matrikulasi Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (BMKPM). BMKPM telah menetapkan enam elemen kemahiran insaniah yang perlu dinilai ke atas pelajar iaitu kemahiran kepimpinan, kemahiran komunikasi, kemahiran berfikir secara kritis dan menyelesaikan masalah, kemahiran kerja berpasukan, semangat kesukarelawanan dan patriotisme. Panel pakar telah mengesahkan instrumen pentaksiran ini berada dalam julat persetujuan .79 hingga .98. Kajian rintis telah dilaksanakan Kolej Matrikulasi Melaka yang melibatkan 160 orang pelajar dan data dianalisis menggunakan Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Hasil analisis EFA, 27 daripada 30 item dalam modul pentaksiran berjaya dimuatkan dalam faktor masing-masing berdasarkan factor loading dengan nilai melebihi 0.45.
