The study was also conducted to validate Delone and McLean_s success model in the healthcare domain, particularly the adoption of HIS in Al-Sharjah City public and private hospitals. This study adopted a quantitative approach. A sample, which was made up of 500 outpatients aged above 18 years old, was selected using cluster sampling. Self-administered questionnaires were used as an instrument to collect the data. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to test the proposed hypotheses.
