Kajian ini bertujuan membangun dan menguji Modul Kaedah Pengajaran Berasaskan Adventure (KPBA) terhadap pencapaian Statistik Asas, kemahiran berfikir kritis dan kemahiran kepimpinan pelajar. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kajian pembangunan modul dengan dua fasa pelaksanaannya. Fasa pertama melibatkan fasa pembangunan modul KPBA berasaskan model ADDIE dan Kemp. Fasa kedua kajian menggunakan reka bentuk kuasi eksperimen ujian pra-pos kumpulan kawalan tidak setara ke atas 30 orang pelajar semester dua Program Persediaan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan (PPISMP) di sebuah Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia yang dipilih secara teknik rawak berkelompok. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tiga instrumen iaitu ujian pencapaian Statistik Asas, ujian kemahiran berfikir kritis dan soal selidik kemahiran kepimpinan. Meningkatkan kemahiran penambahan dan penolakan pecahan pelajar tahun 4 melalui Fraction Cipher

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dan mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi oleh pelajar di dalam topik operasi penambahan dan penolakan pecahan. Tinjauan awal dilakukan melalui semakan latihan dan ujian pra mendapati pelajar mempunyai masalah terhadap topik berkenaan. Hasil tinjauan tersebut seramai 10 orang pelajar telah dijadikan sampel kajian. Ia melibatkan pelajar tahun 4 di salah sebuah sekolah sekitar Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. Pembinaan Fraction Cipher dilakukan sebagai bahan bantu mengajar bagi mengatasi masalah tersebut. Tiga instrumen utama digunakan dalam kajian ini seperti ujian pencapaian matematik (pecahan), instrumen pemerhatian dan instrumen temu bual separa struktur. Kajian dimulakan dengan ujian pra, intervensi selama empat minggu, ujian pos dan temubual pelajar seminggu selepas ujian pos dijalankan. Mathematics learning module based on character learning: a proposal of the study

This study is a research proposal paper that aims to develop mathematics teaching and learning modules based on character education. This study uses development design guided by ADDIE model. The analysis process will use a quantitative approach. The validity and reliability processes to be carried out are the content validity level, content validity index and Cronbach’s alpha analysis. Sampling techniques are intended to be used to select samples for validity and reliability purposes. The sample is among mathematics education experts, module experts, Language experts and students. This study is expected to have an impact on educators in conducting module development systematically. It is hoped that the module developed can be used as a guide to all education, especially mathematics educators in implementing the teaching and learning process based on character education. 3 in 1 effect when using adventure based learning approach in basic statistics class

This research aims to study the effect of adventure-based learning on students basic statistics achievement, critical thinking, and leadership skills. The quasi-experimental method was used in this study through quantitative research design. The sample consisted of 30 year 1 students of one of the Teacher Education Institutes. The institute itself determined this group of students. They are in the context of an intact group. The data were analyzed inferentially by using MANOVA. The results of the MANOVA test analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the mean post-test between groups for the achievement of Basic Statistics and leadership skills. At the same time, test analysis showed insignificant results for critical thinking skills. Thus, there was no significant difference in the mean post-test of critical thinking skills between the treatment group and the control group. Non-digital gamification: effects of teaching on mathematics achievement and student behavior

Purpose: This study examined the effect of non-digital game-based teaching methods on student achievement in mathematics particularly in fractions. Design/Methodology/Approach: A quasi-experimental design involving 100 students from primary schools in the state of Perak. Two groups (the control group and the experimental group) were formed where the control group went through conventional learning while the experimental group used non-digital gamification learning methods. Data was collected using four instruments: the fraction topic mathematical achievement test, the math textbook (control group), the math textbook and fraction gamification kit (experimental group) and observation. Findings: Studies show that students who use NDGBL score better in math achievement tests (fractions) than those who study topics using conventional methods. There is a better effect on changing student behavior when using the NDGBL method than the conventional method. Implications, Conclusion and Contribut.....
