In 2007, the QLASSIC was introduced to assess the quality in projects workmanship which included landscaping works and due to this, many elements of non-compliance were recorded all round. The purpose of the paper is to discuss the possibility of why non-compliance in the QLASSIC assessments continued, which had-opened up several subjects' worth re-examining. A combination of mixed qualitative and quantitative research methods were employed. Critical literature review in revisiting the landscape workmanship's quality definition and construct was conducted by using the Atlas.Ti software. Meanwhile, QLASSIC data was obtained from the onsite certified third party quality assessor over a period of nine years, which began from 2007 until 2015. The findings suggested that problems of workmanship quality in landscape architecture works are quite significant.
