1 | 2023 Article | The practice of collaborative governance in Malaysias foreign worker policy Noor Hadzlida Ayob The purpose of this study is to investigate the viability of applying collaborative governance in the management and policy of foreign workers in Malaysia. This study employs a qualitative approach to examine the degree to which Malaysias administrative policy for foreign workers incorporates a collaborative administration element. Information was obtained through interviewing eleven sources from relevant ministries, industries, and contractors and workers associations. The findings found that the policy for managing foreign workers now includes administrative collaboration components. Nevertheless, based on the three collaborative elements of collaborative dynamics, namely the engagement principle, shared motivation, and the capacity to act collaboratively, the level of collaborative governance in the formulation and implementation of foreign worker policy remains low. Thus, to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the foreign worker policy, a more extensive form of collaborati..... 149 hits |
2 | 2024 Article | Factors influencing farmer adoption of climate-smart agriculture technologies: Evidence from Malaysia Noor Hadzlida Ayob As technology advances, people become increasingly dependent on technological tools to increase their work efficiency and productivity. Farming methods in the agriculture sector are also undergoing a shift from conventional to technology-driven modern agriculture practices, primarily because of their benefits and potential to mitigate the effects of climate change. However, the adoption rate of climate-smart agriculture technologies (CSAT) is considered to be very slow. Thus, this study was conducted to examine the factors that lead farmers to adopt CSAT in their agricultural practices. A sample of 185 farmers was used to investigate the main influencing factors in four contexts. The developed model was analyzed using the partial least squares structural equation modeling method. The results of this study suggest that institutions play a critical role as a contextual factor that leads individuals and societies to engage with CSAT, builds confidence, and convinces farmers to adopt these..... 5 hits |

4 | 2024 Article | The Influence of Introversion and Extroversion Personality Traits on Student Technostress, Satisfaction, and Performance Expectancy: A Multigroup Analysis Noor Hadzlida binti Ayob This study aims to examine the influence of personality traits, specifically introversion and extroversion, on the relationship between technostress, satisfaction, and performance expectancy of students. Data from 234 university students were collected and analyzed using the partial least square structural equation modeling approach. The findings reveal no significant difference between introverted and extroverted students in terms of techno-overload and techno-insecurity. However, a notable difference is observed in the context of techno-complexity, where introverted students are more affected by it compared with extroverted students. This could be attributed to introverted students who tend to face challenges alone and find it difficult to ask for help, whereas the extroverted ones are more inclined to ask for assistance when facing technological challenges. Consequently, it is recommended that instructors provide clear explanations on how to use learning technology applications befo..... 5 hits |
