| 1 | 2015 Thesis | Interaksi sosial pelajar pelbagai etnik di sebuah sekolah menengah kebangsaan Noor Insyiraah Abu Bakar Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti bentuk interaksi, faktor yang mempengaruhi interaksi dan strategi yang digunakan oleh sekolah dalam meningkatkan interaksi pelajar. Kaedah kajian kes telah digunakan untuk meneroka isu kajian ini. Pengumpulan data kajian adalah melalui kaedah temu bual secara individu dan berkumpulan, pemerhatian serta analisis dokumen. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapatnya lima bentuk interaksi sosial iaitu kerjasama, timbal balik, persaingan, konflik dan komunikasi bukan lisan. Walaupun wujud konflik dan stereotaip, namun pelajar masih menunjukkan sikap untuk mempelajari budaya dan menerima perbezaan yang terdapat antara etnik. Dapatan kajian turut menunjukkan bahawa terdapat faktor dalaman dan luaran sekolah yang mempengaruhi interaksi pelajar. Antara faktor dalaman adalah seperti pentadbiran sekolah, guru, persekitaran sekolah, sikap pelajar, rakan sebaya, sekolah rendah asal dan hobi pelajar. | 2 | 2021 Thesis | Resosialisasi juvana di Institut Pemulihan Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Noor Insyiraah Abu Bakar Objektif kajian ialah untuk meneroka strategi resosialisasi juvana, meneroka aspek
perubahan diri juvana, mengenalpasti reaksi juvana terhadap proses resosialisasi yang
dilaluinya, mengenalpasti masalah semasa resosialisasi dan mencadangkan satu kerangka baharu
resosialisasi juvana. Teori yang digunakan adalah ‘total institution’ (TI) oleh Goffman
(1961). Pendekatan kualitatif dengan reka bentuk kajian kes telah digunakan. Pemilihan responden
adalah melalui pensampelan bertujuan melibatkan 23 orang juvana (12 lelaki, 11 perempuan),
berumur linkungan 10 hingga 18 tahun, 16 orang tenaga pengajar, empat orang pentadbir,
empat orang pembantu kebajikan masyarakat dan tiga orang kaunselor dari tiga buah institusi

| 3 | 2024 Article | Teaching at rehabilitation schools: An exploration of approaches Noor Insyiraah Abu Bakar The purpose of this study is to explore the teaching approaches that are appropriate for juveniles so that they can gain knowledge and skills in line with current demands and develop their potential. A qualitative approach was employed, specifically a constructivist grounded theory research design, involving 15 teachers and three administrators from the three rehabilitation schools. To ensure an in-depth exploration of these issues, data was collected using semi-structured interviews. Observations were also carried out in order to support the interview data and to give a full picture from various perspectives. The findings showed that the teachers practiced various teaching approaches that were appropriate for the conditions and problems of the juveniles at the schools, as detailed in this article. Islamic education and programs as an alternative approach Noor Insyiraah Abu Bakar Resocialization is an important process for a juvenile, and it can be achieved through various means, one of which is religion. This article solely focuses on the resocialization of juveniles through the implementation of a religious approach. A case study design was used involving two rehabilitation schools housing male and female juveniles who have broken the law and whose ages range from 10 to 18. Two schools, each housing a different gender, were chosen to provide a more detailed understanding of the resocialization process. A total of 10 teachers and 15 juveniles were selected as respondents through the purposive sampling technique. This technique allows the selection of appropriate individuals based on the scope of the study. Data was gathered through in-depth interviews with all respondents. This study aims to identify key factors necessary for effective learning in rehabilitation schools for juveniles. A constructivist grounded theory (CGT) approach was employed to gain a deeper understanding. Fifteen teachers, three administrators, and five education experts participated in the study using purposive sampling. Data was collected via in-depth interviews with these participants. The thematic analysis revealed four main themes essential for effective learning among juveniles: teachers (qualifications, teaching methods, and attitudes), juveniles (emotions and interest in learning), rehabilitation schools (administrator support and learning facilities), and community (support from families and assistance from governmental and non-governmental organizations).
