Stressful life events are commonly experienced by incarcerated female youth and may influence their coping responses and psychological adjustment. This study examined the effect of stressful life events on coping strategies among incarcerated female youth and investigated the mediating role of resilience. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, involving 101 incarcerated female youth recruited from rehabilitation institutions. Participants completed standardized measures assessing stressful life events, resilience, and coping strategies. Descriptive, correlation, and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted to address the research objectives. The results indicated that stressful life events were not significantly associated with or predictive of coping strategies and were not significantly related to resilience.
