Penyelidikan dalam bidang pengajian Islam telah berkembang dengan jayanya termasuklah melalui penghasilan penyelidikan ilmiah oleh calon-calon pascasiswazah sama ada di peringkat sarjana mahupun di peringkat doKtor falsafah. Tambahan lagi, pengkhususan dalam pengajian Islam bukan hanya berkaitan pengajian Al-Quran, Hadith, Fiqh ataupun persoalan akidah sematamata. Malah telah merangkumi penyelidikan aspek perundangan, ekonomi dan kewangan, pengurusan, sains politik, pemikiran Islam kontemporari, industri halal serta sains gunaan berkaitan pengajian Islam. Berdasarkan sampel kajian daripada jumlah tesis pasca siswazah Akademi Pengajian Islam Universiti Malaya yang telah dimuat turun secara dalam talian. Jumlah keseluruhan tesis di bidang penyelidikan pengajian Islam sebanyak 154 kajian pascasiswazah pada 2016 dan 56 kajian pascasiswazah dalam bidang pengajian Islam pada 2017 yang menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan kedua-dua tahun 2016 dan 2017 sebanyak 210 buah penyelidikan dihasilkan. Basically, shariah risk management in the takaful industry is responsible to those specialize in shariah studies (fiqh and usul, fiqh muamalat) namely Shariah Committee (SC) of Takaful Operator and Internal Shariah Department of Takaful Operator. Nonetheless, non-shariah staff, other than SC and Internal Shariah Department of Takaful Operators, also play an important role in managing shariah risk exposures in the operations of Takaful Operator. According to section 29 (3) Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 (IFSA 2013) which states that the Chief Executive Officer and Officer including any of the staff of the Takaful Operator are responsible for ensuring shariah compliance in the operation of Islamic financial institutions. Therefore, this study will analyze a using qualitative approach by interviewing respondents who are involved with the operations of takaful companies in Malaysia. The Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented in Malaysia on 18 March 2020. The MCO has changed peoples lifestyle to some extent because they have been advised to work from home. Due to this situation, the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) implemented online learning methods throughout the MCO period to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Therefore, all schools have implemented online teaching and learning with the instructions of the MOE as a new norm to ensure that learning sessions are not delayed. The purpose of this study was to determine the level and factors of effectiveness of online learning for secondary school students studying economics subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a quantitative research design employing a questionnaire as data collection instrument.
