This study aims to identify the components needed for the development of a teaching and learning module framework based on the TikTok application in Politeknik Malaysia. The popularity of TikTok among students is increasing, but educators face challenges in integrating this technology into teaching and learning. One important aspect for successfully using TikTok in teaching is providing clear and detailed guidelines to ensure the design and development of learning materials go smoothly, meet lecturers needs, and are effective for students. The conceptual framework of this study is developed based on a literature review of the main theories proposed by scholars. It integrates connectivism theory, cognitive load theory, and multimedia learning theory as the foundation for developing the research guidelines.
