That article delves into how school teachers perceive the implementation of the ‘Servant Leadership Behaviours’ concept by school principals, where teachers serve under these principals’ supervision. It also identifies the level of this concept’s application in primary and secondary schools. The article has strengths and weaknesses. The concept of servant leadership by school principals is well-explained and it effectively employs methodology (snowball sampling and content analysis). It systematises data, succeeds in answering the research questions, and its references are compatible with bibliographic rules. 2 | 2019 article | Mahabharata in Malay language Samikkanu Jabamoney Ishak Samuel Even from the first centuries before Christ, it could be seen that the Indian arts, culture and literature had spread to the Malay islands. Initially, the coming of Indians to the Malay Islands was centered on business. Eventually, in the course of time, trade connections turned into cultural connections. With cultural connections, Indian arts and literature began to be rooted in the Malay islands. Due to that, the famous epics of the Mahabharata and Ramayana were translated into the ancient Javanese language and were used. Mahabharata stories from ancient Javanese language had been translated into Malay language. After the conversion of the Malays into Islam, the Mahabharata stories had been translated into Malay language followed by translations from the Arabic and Persian languages as well. Mahabharata stories In Malay literature are more prominent in their puppet shows.

3 | 2020 article | An exposure of the problems of spinsters as depicted in the Malaysian Tamil modern poems by using events from the Ramayana epic Samikkanu Jabamoney Ishak Samuel Purpose of the study-The major objective of the research is to analyse how the events from the epic poem Ramayana are used in three Malaysian Tamil modern poems to portray the dilemma of the present-day spinsters. Methodology: The design of this study is qualitative method and the method of descriptive analysis has also been used. Main Findings: The findings show that the selected three Malaysian Tamil modern poems have been written to illustrate the problems faced by spinsters by using two events from the Ramayana. Of the three poems, one poem uses the event featuring Akalikai waiting for Rama's arrival to release her from her cursed life and two other poems showcase Sita waiting for the coming of Rama to break the bow and marry her. 4 | 2021 article | A comparison of malay and tamil traditions shadow-play Samikkanu Jabamoney Ishak Samuel The main objective of this study is to identify the similarities and differences between Malay and Tamil tradition of shadow-play. The design of this study is qualitative in nature using descriptive analysis methods based on Comparative literature theory. The researcher had collected and studied the similarities and differences in the Malay and Tamil tradition shadow-play. The findings of the study show that Malay and Tamil tradition of shadow-play have significant similarities in terms of story and form of puppets as the shadow-play in Malaysia have Hindu influences from Java or Pattani. However, many Malay shadow-plays have also been adapted and adopted to the culture and tastes of the local community, especially with the comic relief, that is often found throughout the Malay tradition of the shadow-play, as a local element. 5 | 2020 article | Literary traditions of the Tamil Sangam and medieval period in the Christian marriage of the Tirunelveli Tamils Samikkanu Jabamoney Ishak Samuel The major objective of the research is to explore the literary traditions of the Tamil Sangam and Medieval Period in the Christian marriage of the Tirunelveli Tamils. This research is designed in a qualitative approach. The two methods such as field work and library work were used for this study. The findings show that the marriage patterns beginning from seeing the Bride to the post-marriage rituals of Tirunelveli Tamil Christians have similarities to the marriages that were practiced during the Tamil Sangam and Medieval Period. This study is useful in teaching the younger generation about the literary traditions of the Tamil Sangam and Medieval Period in the Christian marriages of the Tirunelveli Tamils The research claims to be the first such attempt to do a study regarding the literary traditions of the Tamil Sangam and Medieval Period in the Christian marriage of the Tirunelveli Tamils.
