Economics should impart training in the principles of economics, its application to different life situations and finally help the student in understanding the basics of national economic environment because it will affect their lives as well. Authentic learning when applied in teaching Economics can make a difference on how the students view it as a subject. As learners in Economics classrooms develop 21st-century skills or competencies to live well in today’s fast-paced society, they need opportunities to see themselves and their learning in a larger authentic context.
