Interaction module development based on higher order thinking skills

This research aims to study the development process of learning modules in order to increase the interaction between teachers and children based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in story-telling activities. The development process involves material preparation, expert review, and module content assessment. This module development process employs four experts from different fields. A few suggestions have been identified and improvements were made based on the suggestions given. The revised module is assessed for content accuracy by four evaluators, where two are early childhood education experts and two are kindergarten teachers. There are three aspects that are evaluated, which are module delivery and presentation, module content, and language presentation. Findings show this module has good verified content and meets the targets of the evaluators who are experts in their field, and module target users. Interaksi guru dengan kanak-kanak melalui pembelajaran berasaskan inkuri

Kajian ini dilakukan untuk meneroka interaksi kanak-kanak melalui pembelajaran berasaskan inkuiri. Reka bentuk kualitatif dengan kaedah kajian kes digunakan dalam kajian ini. Instrumen kualitatif seperti temu bual, borang senarai semak dan analisis dokumen berdasarkan rancangan pelajaran harian. Kajian ini melibatkan empat orang kanak-kanak berusia enam tahun, dua lelaki dan dua perempuan dari prasekolah di Pulau Pinang. Penyelidik melakukan temu bual sebelum dan selepas pelaksanaan strategi pembelajaran berasaskan inkuiri untuk mengenal pasti interaksi kanak-kanak. Sementara itu, borang senarai semak digunakan semasa pemerhatian untuk memerhatikan sebarang tingkah laku interaksi kanak-kanak. Analisis dokumen pada rancangan pengajaran harian dilakukan untuk membincangkan interaksi kanak-kanak. Kajian mendapati bahawa pelaksanaan strategi pembelajaran berasaskan inkuiri mendorong interaksi yang positif dalam kalangan kanak-kanak. Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children's social, emotional, and moral development: A systematic literature review

This research aims to better understand how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected children's social, emotional, and moral development. Articles and related studies were gathered from the Education Resources Information Centre (ERIC), Scopus, and Science Direct databases. After a quality review following the PRISMA 2020 protocol, 16 articles were selected for a systematic literature review (SLR). The findings from this review were organized into four main themes: (1) the impact of technology and distance learning on children, (2) children's behavior and emotions, (3) the conditions of people around them, and (4) social support. Pengetahuan sosioemosi guru dalam memupuk moral kanka-kanak pasca pandemik covid-19

Guru prasekolah di Malaysia menghadapi masalah dalam pengajaran komponen sosioemosi disebabkan kurangnya alat bantu mengajar, struktur dan panduan yang khusus. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti pengetahuan sosioemosi guru dalam memupuk moral kanak-kanak pasca pandemik COVID-19. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana soal selidik digunakan sebagai instrumen kajian untuk mengumpul data. Kajian ini dilaksanakan terhadap 124 orang guru TABIKA PERPADUAN negeri Perak dan Selangor. Data yang di analisis menggunakan Statistical Package For The Social Science Version 27 (SPSS 27). Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa 75.0% guru mewujudkan rangsangan dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang mendorong perkembangan sosioemosi dalam memupuk moral kanak-kanak, 71.8% guru mengambil kira faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemahiran sosioemosi kanak-kanak dalam memupuk moral kanak-kanak, 67.7% guru menggunakan kaedah pengajaran yang menumpukan aspek kemahiran sosioemosi dalam memupuk mora.....
