Concept of DDR in developing health education assessment module for classroom-based assessment

The purpose of this study is to design and Health Education assessment module for Classroom-based assessment implementation. This study will employ the Design and Development Research (DDR) approach, which has three phases. During phase one, needs analysis carried out with 291 Health Education teachers. This is to identify whether there is a need to develop Health Education Assessment Module for Classroom-based assessment implementation. During the second phase, the design and development phase, the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM), will be carried out by inviting 20 experts from various fields. During the evaluation phase, quasi experiment will be implemented to know the module's effectives among lower primary students. Random sampling will be used in the need analysis and evaluation phase, while purposive sampling method in the second phase. The data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics. Validity and reliability of the Health Education Assessment Module’s Needs Analysis Instrument among Kedah Primary School Teachers

The study was conducted to obtain the validity and reliability of the health education assessment module needs analysis instrument among Kedah primary school teachers. This study aims to determine the need to develop a health education assessment module among primary school teachers who teach Health Education. The study uses design and development methods but has three phases. The technique is said to be multiple methods that can use any suitable form for specific phases. For the needs analysis phase, the researchers have used quantitative methods that have used questionnaires for data collection. The questionnaires were certified by one expert from the Malay Language working in a teacher education institute and three experts in the relevant fields of Health Education. A total of 40 primary school teachers who teach standard one students from Kedah state were selected to test the instrument's reliability before giving the accurate sample of the need analysis phase. Background. This study aims to develop a Health Education assessment module in the classroom for lower primary students. Methods. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the health education assessment module for lower primary students by implementing it in the classroom-based assessment. The methodology design used in this study is the design and development research (DDR). The paper focused on the third phase of the design, which is an assessment of the module. The instrument used in this phase is the quasi-experimental to identify the effectiveness of assessment material, the assessment module for lower primary students in classroom-based assessment.
