Abstract
Rises in land surface temperature (LST) significantly impacted by land use/land cover (LULC) changes. The increase in LST massively impacted the urban biodiversity, ecosystem and population health. This study aims to estimate the changes in LULC classes and identify their impacts on LST in Dhaka city, Bangladesh using Landsat satellite images from 2000 to 2020. Based on the past estimated change maps of LULC and LST, the study finally predicted the future LULC and LST scenario for the year 2030. The support vector machine algorithm was applied to perform the LULC classification. Artificial neural network and cellular automata algorithms were used to predict the LST and LULC changes for 2030. Results suggested a significant reduction in vegetation cover (5%) and an increase in built-up area (14%) from 2000 to 2020. Due to this massive increase in built-up areas, the LST increment took place by 7.24 C in the last two decades. The maximum temperature was recorded in built-up areas (34 .....

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze macroeconomic, non-macroeconomic and financial sector development (FSD) factors that influence migrant workers’ remittances in the selected Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. An augmentedgravity model was employed as the theoretical framework and econometric methods were used to examine the relationships between macroeconomics (Gross Domestic Product (GDP), exchange rates, and inflation rates), non-macroeconomics (borders, cultural and history, partner countries, distances, and language) and FSD factors(credit to private sector (CPS) and openness to trade (OT)) towards remittances. Data sources fromWorld Bank and group of central banks from 1989 to 2012 wereutilized. The empirical findings demonstrated that the GDP of the countries was the most significant factor in influencing the remittance flows. Moreover, other macroeconomic factors were also found to be significant in affecting the remittances including exchange and infla.....

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Talent Management dimensions and Employee Retention. Additionally, this study also investigates the moderating role of Leadership on the relationship between Talent Management and Employee Retention in Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi. This study utilized quantitative and deductive approach. Data were collected using structured questionnaires consisting of 57 items from a sample of 4737 school teachers in Abu Dhabi, which were selected through stratified random sampling. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via Smart PLS 3.2.6 software. The findings showed significant positive effects of career development (β=0.157, p=0.002), competency mapping (β=0.161, p=0.026), employee engagement (β=0.201, p=0.007) and performance management (β=0.268, p=0.015) on employee retention. The finding also revealed the significant moderating effect of .....

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the impact of the self-service technology (SST) adoption attributes, namely ease of use, reliability, readiness, and interactivity, on customer satisfaction towards governmental services in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This study adopted a quantitative approach. A sample consisted of 385 customers of Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC), which were selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire as a research instrument and analysed using multiple linear regression. At the significance level of 0.05, the findings revealed SST reliability (β= -0.113, p=0.045) and interactivity of SST (β=0.302, p=0.000) as significant predictors of customer satisfaction. In particular, the effect of SST reliability on customer satisfaction is negative, while the effect of SST interactivity is positive. The SST ease of use (β=0.034, p=0.549), and SST readiness (β=-0.044, p=0.422) do not significantly affect customer satisfac.....

Abstract
T_his study aims to examine the effects of using the cognitive journeys through the web quest on motivation, engagement, and academic achievement among grade ten students in social studies in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve the research goals, the researcher employed the quantitative approach (pre-test and post-test) with a sample of 120 students, specifically 60 male students from Abu Zaid Al Ryami Primary School, and 60 female students from Al Qalah Primary School, within the social studies course in the geography unit. The sample was divided into two groups: an experimental group of 60 students using the cognitive journeys strategy via the web, and a control group of 60 students studying through traditional methods. The researcher designed educational materials on a website, based on a teacher's guide that he prepared. The research included a set of tools such as an achievement test, a learning retention test, a motivation scale, and a scholastic engagement scale, all of which wer.....
