Latihan kekuatan dan suaian fizikal telah berkembang pesat dengan melibatkan pelbagai kaedah dan menggunakan pelbagai objek seperti tayar dan tali yang berat. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keberkesanan latihan yang menggabungkan penggunaan tayar dan tali dalam satu program latihan. Kajian ini terbahagi kepada dua peringkat. Kajian peringkat pertama ialah untuk menentukan kos metabolik latihan yang telah dibina. Seramai 20 orang belia lelaki dengan purata umur 22.05 ± 1.46 tahun terlibat dalam kajian ini. Nilai Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET), kadar penggunaan oksigen, kos tenaga, dan kadar nadi latihan diukur menggunakan spirometer mudah alih. Analisis deskriptif menunjukkan latihan ini menghasilkan nilai MET 7.25 ± 1.62. Penggunaan oksigen yang direkodkan ialah 1655.05 ± 295.70 ml·min−1, dan penggunaan oksigen maksimum ialah 24.17 ± 4.48 ml·kg−1·min−1. This study aimed to examine the metabolic cost during tyre and rope functional training. 20 male youth aged between 20 and 24 years old with average age (22.05 ± 1.46) were recruited for this study. Participants involved in three types of exercise that uses rope and three types of exercise using a tire. Metabolic cost (Metabolic Equivalent of Task value, oxygen consumption, energy cost, and pulse rate training) during training was measured using a special tool called portable metabolic analyzer. Results showed the average MET value for exercises using rope and tires for 10 minutes was 7.25 ± 1.62. The average recorded oxygen consumption was 1655.05 ± 295.703) mL · min -1. While the average energy used is 74.75 ± 14.78 kcal or 7.47 kcal · min -1. The average pulse rate during a 10-minute exercise function was 153.15 ± 13.28 per minute. Obesity has been recognised as a major public health concern due to lack of physical activity and a sedentary lifestyle. The aim of this study was to determine the status of physical activity level and body mass index (BMI) among youth living in low-cost housing in Kuala Lumpur. The respondents were youths aged between 15 and 25 (19.80, SD=3.17) years old and consisted of 214 males and 172 females. The BMI value was determined through the ratio of body weight and height, while the level of physical activity was measured using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). The descriptive analysis showed that the mean BMI of male respondents was (22.65, SD=3.11) kg/m² and (23.73,SD=3.30) kg/m² for the females. A total of 227 (58.80%) of the respondents had low-level physical activity (441.57, SD=81.64) MET-min·wkˉˡ. Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi gelagat pembelian dalam kalangan pelajar UTP dan UiTM Seri Iskandar terhadap produk penjagaan diri yang halal. Terdapat empat faktor yang dinilai didalam kajian ini iaitu sikap, norma subjektif, kawalan terhadap kelakuan dan agama. This study intended to clarify whether there are significant relationships between the job satisfaction of the English Language teachers in Perak Tengah district toward the selected variables with respect to type of school and respondents’ gender or sex. A questionnaire that was modified from Dr. Patricia Cain Smith’s Job Descriptive Index (JDI) and the Likert-type scale were used to collect the data for this study. This study involved ten respondents from two different schools in Perak Tengah district, and they were SMK Iskandar Shah, Parit, and SMK Sultan Muhammad Shah, Parit. The results of this study showed that hypothesis null could not be rejected, that is there is no statistical significant difference in the English language teachers’ job satisfaction between respondents’ gender and types of school. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh peletakan pasaran institusi pengajian tinggi terhadap wakaf pendidikan. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif.
