Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menginterpretasi makna intrinsik dalam karya-karya catan Syed Ahmad Jamal antara tahun 1950an sehingga 2000.Sebanyak 13 catan telah dianalisis berdasarkan tema-tema tertentu.Aspek-aspek yang penting dalam kajian ini adalah tema,rupa bentuk,simbol dan warna. Kajian ini menggunakan pandekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif.Kaedah pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pemerhatian, temubual, dan analisis dokumen.Hasil kajian menunjukkan terdapat unsur-unsur alam semulajadi yang dekat dengan kesenian Melayu dijelmakan menerusi rupa bentuk dan symbol dalam catan.Nilai kepercayaan dan mitos masyarakat Melayu juga mempengaruhi catan Syed Ahmad Jamal, ia telah mewujudkan identiti beliau yang tersendiri terhadap gaya dan olahan idea yang dihasilkan. The main objective of this study is to examine the relationship between dimensionality of teacher self-efficacy and organisational citizenship behaviour amongst teachers at government school, Malaysia. Teacher self-efficacy is comprised of personal teaching efficacy and general teaching efficacy. A research issue is highlighted and discussed in detail and thoroughly. A theoretical background for both construct: efficacy theory and organisational citizenship behaviour have been systematically and clearly discussed. Both constructs are also found to be significantly contributed to the school achievement positively. The conceptual framework is also developed based on past empirical arguments. Numerous contributions are pointed out and adequate justification is provided. The aims of this study are to determine the chemical structures of the isolated compounds from the leaves and stem bark of Ficus deltoidea var. kunstleri by using various type of spectroscopy and to evaluate their antidiabetic activities. The isolation process of isolated compounds involved extraction, separation and purification by using column chromatography and preparative thin layer chromatography techniques. These compounds were structurally identified by using various spectroscopic techniques such as 1D (1H,13C and DEPT) and 2D-NMR (HMBC,HMQC and COSY), UV, IR and mass spectrometry; and also by comparison with previous studies. Study on in-vitro antidiabetic activities were evaluated by using α-glucosidase inhibitory assay with 4- nitrophenyl-α-D-glucopyranoside (pNPG) as substrate. Kajian deskriptif ini bertujuan menentukan hubungan antarapengetahuan pengurusandengan kemahiran pengurusan Ketua Panitia Sekolah Menengah.Seramai 213 orang ketua panitia di sepuluh buah sekolah menengah telah dijadikan responden kajian. Kajian ini menggunakan soal selidik yang dibina bagi menenetukan hubungan pengetahuan pengurusan dan kemahiran pengurusan.
