Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between need-supportive coaching behaviour, self-efficacy, subjective task value, goal orientation and engagement among Chinese high school football players, and the mediating role of selfefficacy, subjective task value, and goal orientation in the relationship between needsupportive coaching behaviour and athlete engagement, to better understand the determinants and mechanisms of athlete engagement. Participants were 385 Chinese high school football players (228 boys; 157 girls; Mage = 16.07 years; SD = 1.15; range = 14-19 years) on 20 teams from 45 high schools using a proportional stratified random sampling method. They completed a set of previously validated questionnaires, including the Interpersonal Behaviours Questionnaire (IBQ), Self-efficacy Questionnaire for Soccer (SEQ-S), Subjective Task Value (STV), The Task and Ego Orientations Questionnaire (TEOSQ) and Athlete Engagement Questionnaire (AEQ). A mult.....

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to synthesize the recent 2019-2023 studies related to children's fundamental motor skills, and compare their assessment methods as well as intervention programs, providing a reference basis for the next choice and design. The Scopus database was used for this review. PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines were used to identify relevant literature, with Cochrane Collaboration's tool for assessing the risk of bias using eligible studies critically appraised and 27 key studies were integrated for specialized analysis. The meta-synthesis revealed that 74% of studies related to the integrated development of children's fundamental motor skills used the TGMD2/3 (which does not include the assessment of fine motor skills). Ninety percent of studies designed fundamental motor skill interventions that included only gross motor skills (manipulatives and mobility) did not include fine motor skill interventions., and did n.....

Abstract
The level of development of motor skills in children aged 3-6 years has a significant impact on their lifelong level of physical fitness. The purpose of this study was to establish a holistic model of physical fitness development in children aged 3-6 years old and to evaluate the effect of a customized physical fitness intervention plan based on this model. Systematic review and meta-analysis were used to determine current weaknesses in fundamental skills intervention program, which validated the model used _Children Sports Ability Training (CSAT) Model_. The customized fitness program based on the model were then used by a total of 545 children aged 3-6 years old in an early childhood fitness centre in Chengdu, China as part of their curriculum. During the period, motor skills were assessed at pre and post using Peabody Developmental Motor Scale-2 (PDMS-2). The meta-analysis result showed that 92% intervention program only utilized gross motor skills from 2013-2023. Profiling assessme.....

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the connections among perceived stress, teacher support, peer relationships, self-esteem, and school adjustment. This research employs a quantitative approach involving 818 boarding students from China selected through Multi Stage Cluster Sampling. Instruments for data collection encompass the Chinese Perceived Stress Scale (CPSS), Classroom Environment Scale for Primary and Secondary Schools, Friendship Quality Questionnaire, Self-Esteem Scale, and School Attitudes Questionnaire. Analysis was conducted using SPSS software, including Ttests and ANOVA, to examine differences in perceived stress and school adjustment across various demographic groups. Smart-PLS structural equation modeling was employed to explore the relationships among the variables. The results indicate that gender has negligible effects on perceived stress and school adjustment, and that ninthgrade boarding students experience elevated levels of perceived stress and lower school adjustme.....

Abstract
Introduction: Playing badminton has been reported with extensive health benefits, while main injuries were documented in the lower extremity. This study was aimed to investigate and predict the knee- and ankle-joint loadings of athletes who play badminton, with gold standard facilities. The axial impact acceleration from wearables would be used to predict joint moments and contact forces during sub-maximal and maximal lunge footwork. Methods: A total of 25 badminton athletes participated in this study, following a previously established protocol of motion capture and musculoskeletal modelling techniques with the integration of a wearable inertial magnetic unit (IMU). We developed a principal component analysis (PCA) statistical model to extract features in the loading parameters and a multivariate partial least square regression (PLSR) machine learning model to correlate easily collected variables, such as the stance time, approaching velocity, and peak accelerations, with knee and ank.....
