Abstract

The construction sector based on industry or Industrialised Building System is a method of construction using the industrialised building materials at the manufacturing plant. This method can replace the conventional method which is able to reduces the amount of foreign labor as well as to improve the quality of construction, lower cost and reduction in construction time. This study is intended to create a guideline that can be used to encourage all private construction projects in the Klang Valley implement the IBS System in 2015. Therefore, this study was undertaken to assess the level of IBS usage in the building construction. There are about 400 private sector projects in the Klang Valley has been identified as a sample for this study in which 184 private projects are using IBS technology achieved a score of 55% and above. IBS survey 2010 drivers, barriers and critical success factors in adopting Industrialised Building System (IBS) construction by G7 contractors in Malaysia

Abstract

The industrialised building system (IBS) survey has become an essential tool for ensuring the IBS Roadmap (2003 to 2010) meets its goals and target. As part of the process review survey, it also records the trend achievement of Malaysia in the usage of IBS in the building construction industry. The first and second IBS surveys were published in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Afterward, the IBS Roadmap’s midterm review was conducted. The third and the most recent IBS surveys were conducted in 2008 and 2010, respectively. This paper aims to highlight a part of the IBS survey report in 2010, which has been conducted to measure the drivers, barriers and the critical success factors of G7 contractors in adopting IBS construction. G7 is a Construction Industry Development Board contractor grade that can apply tender without limit. Abstract

As a developing country, Malaysian is currently driving for implementing a new or modern construction method, the Industrialised Building System (IBS), as an alternative towards enhancing construction performance. Currently, most of the IBS project developments in Malaysia are still conducted by using the traditional construction process approach. This traditional construction process has been widely criticised for its fragmented approach to project delivery and its failure to form effective teams thus created a number of issues such as reworks, time delay, rising costs, lack of communication and coordination, and wastages. Abstract

Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menentukan tahap kepuasan dan kesedaran pembelajaran pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan Matematik di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) dalam pembelajaran kursus matematik secara atas talian pada tempoh pandemik Covid-19 dan seterusnya untuk menentukan sama ada terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tahap kepuasan pembelajaran pelajar dengan tahap kesedaran pembelajaran pelajar. Kajian ini dijalankan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui kaedah tinjauan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah satu set soal selidik tahap kepuasan dan kesedaran pembelajaran pelajar secara atas talian. Item kepuasan pembelajaran pelajar terdiri daripada lima konstruk, iaitu pengendalian struktur kursus, penglibatan dan interaksi pelajar, keberadaan tenaga pengajar, dan kepuasan pelajar. Abstract

Kajian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti sumber pengetahuan yang digunakan untuk melatih pasukan bola sepak Pusat Latihan Daerah (PLD) di Kuala Lumpur. Kajian ini dijalankan selama dua belas (12) bulan bermula dari Disember 2020 hingga Disember 2021. Sebanyak tujuh (7) orang jurulatih Pusat Latihan Daerah di Kuala Lumpur dari kalangan guru telah terlibat sebagai peserta kajian dan ditemu bual bagi mendapatkan data. Jumlah peserta kajian telah di tentukan oleh tahap saturation of information di mana peserta kajian yang di temu bual didapati sudah tidak dapat mengemukakan sesuatu data yang baru berbanding dengan peserta kajian sebelumnya. Data hasil dari temu bual yang telah dianalisis menggunakan kaedah analisis tematik (thematic analysis). Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan meneroka strategi pengajaran kreatif dalam Pendidikan Islam serta menilai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberkesanannya dalam kalangan guru sekolah rendah di Selangor. Dalam era Pendidikan abad ke-21, keperluan terhadap pendekatan pengajaran yang inovatif dan menyeronokkan menjadi semakin penting bagi memastikan murid bukan sahaja memahami ilmu, tetapi juga menghayatinya dalam kehidupan seharian. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpul melalui temu bual separa berstruktur bersama enam orang guru Pendidikan Islam dan dianalisismenggunakan kaedah tematik.Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa strategi seperti penggunaan teknologi digital, aktiviti kolaboratif, pendekatan seni dan muzik, gamifikasi, serta pembelajaran berasaskan projek dapatmeningkatkan penglibatan pelajar, tumpuan serta kefahaman mereka terhadap konsep Islam secara lebih bermakna.
