Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti perkembangan sejarah ekonomi negeri Terengganu dengan memberi tumpuan ke atas perusahaan hasil perikanan masyarakat Melayu pesisir di  Terengganu dari tahun 1910 hingga 1941. Dalam tempoh ini, negeri Terengganu menunjukkan peningkatan  ekonomi yang memberangsangkan kesan daripada perusahaan hasil perikanan yang dijalankan oleh  masyarakat Melayu pesisir yang merangkumi perusahaan ikan kering, ikan bilis, budu, belacan dan  ikan jeruk. Kajian ini meneliti aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi perusahaan hasil perikanan masyarakat  Melayu pesisir Terengganu. Isu dan cabaran yang dihadapi dalam perusahaan hasil perikanan turut  diketengahkan. Di samping itu, pelbagai langkah dilakukan oleh pihak kerajaan bagi meningkatkan  mutu keluaran hasil perikanan. This research was to identify the students' perception level towards visual arts in SMK Seri Bintang Selatan, a Smart School in Kuala Lumpur. The different perception of the students towards visual arts subject was done based on the chosen demographic traits. The research also aimed at determining if there was a significant relationship between students and the factors that motivate them, (teachers, parents, peers, tools, syllabus, and administration) and identified the main factors for this problem. The sampling for the research consists of 60 students from the selected school and instrument used was questionnaire which comprised of two sections A and B. The section A consists of 15 questions pertaining demographic information of the students and items to measure students' perception. Journal of Sports Science and Physical Education 5(1): 77-94, 2016 - This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Bachelor of Education (Honours) programmes offered by the Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching in producing quality graduates and their employability in the profession. Samples for this study comprised of 49 graduates from the B Ed (Sports Science), 25 graduates from B Ed (Coaching Science) and nine B Ed (Physical Education) who have graduated from 2010 to 2014 as well as their respective employers and peers were selected as respondents. Six to ten samples from each programme together with their employers were interviewed further using guided questionnaire. Data was analysed descriptively as well as correlation and regression methods. The findings showed that the graduates mastered very high levels of the knowledge and skills of the courses related to their respective programmes. In the context of local polytechnics, developing skillful English lecturers is a critical effort. Driven by the demand to produce highly desired graduates for industries, they require supports to stay developed and realise the demand of those industries. Yet, the offered in-service trainings (INSET) of the current system very lightly focus on their real needs. Hence, this study aims to identify the types of INSET that are exactly required by polytechnic English lecturers. A survey was delegated to a random sampling throughout Malaysia to get the related information. An SPSS procedure was run to generate the results. Learning style is expressed as the way a learner approaches a process of learning and how he accrues the content of learning. This normally involves interactions between teachers, students and teaching materials. Knowing appropriate students’ learning style can improve students’ performance and increase student involvement in teaching and learning. A case study was conducted involving 30 first year students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering in an AutoCAD course at Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Polytechnic (POLIMAS), Kedah. An analysis was conducted on a set of questionnaire to obtain the mean value, standard deviation and percentages. Based on Honey and Mumford’s model, the findings revealed that the students’ learning style was inclined towards activist and pragmatist typology. The teaching of engineering courses is relatively challenging due to the nature of the courses that are perceived as “difficult courses” by a number of students. Thus, the purpose of this action research was to explore the problems faced by electrical and electronic engineering (PKEE) students studying a difficult topic–transistor. This research was also aimed at identifying the students’ attitude towards Problem-based Learning (PBL). Literature has shown that PBL could enhance students’ understanding and make the learning more meaningful. The theoretical framework of this study was based on Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. Cooperative learning method was also utilised in this study consisted of Jigsaw technique in the first and second rounds of the study. In the final round, the discussion method was used. Air tirisan atau lebih dikenali sebagai air bukit terhasil apabila sesuatu bentuk muka bumi diteroka atau dipotong untuk tujuan pembangunan khususnya untuk pembinaan jalan raya atau lebuh raya baharu. Air tirisan ini mengalir dari celah rekahan batuan dan dianggap sebagai air semula jadi yang mengalir dari dalam tanah. Menjadi satu trend pada masa kini, orang awam mengambil air ini untuk tujuan minuman di samping keperluan lain. Air tersebut diminum terus tanpa dirawat terlebih dahulu. Artikel ini menganalisis tahap kualiti air tirisan di dua buah lokasi iaitu Ulu Yam dan Kuala Kubu Bharu yang terletak dalam daerah Hulu Selangor.
