In the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, a direct shift from face-to-face classes to online learning causes various challenges for students. This article aimed to assess the different challenges of students that they are experiencing during the pandemic and correlates them with their profile. Cross-sectional and primary data from 190 random samples of senior high students were gathered at Visayas State University-Senior High School, Leyte, Philippines. The data concerning students' profiles and challenges were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, percentages, and graphs, and Chi-square tests were employed to determine a uniform distribution and association among variables. The results showed that students are "rarely" challenged with a lack of usable gadgets and technology illiteracy. Students are “sometimes” challenged with poor internet connectivity, lack of a conducive place, and poor cognitive thinking. And “often” challenged with extraneous distr.....

The need analysis of spoken communication for Thai people who use language proficiency are various. This study's research question analyzes students' needs and challenges regarding tourism and services. Hence, data samples were collected from Thai students studying tourism and related programs. The data collection method was performed by distributing questionnaires to students on the needs and challenges of speaking. The quantitative data analysis employed descriptive statistics, while the qualitative data used thematic analysis. The importance of this study lies in the result that learners need and the challenge their speaking abilities in a working environment. Furthermore, the learning purpose must meet the needs of their future career. In conclusion, the staff must provide information related to their work. The purposes  of study  were developing  blog  for acid  and  base  theories  and determining the  level of students' interest and satisfaction using blog. Blog is a platform of knowledge where  learners post questions, thoughts and reflections to each others. Blog which was developed from  GoogleBlogspot.com, consisted of seven parts;  Leaming  Outcome,  Lecture  Notes,  Tutorial,   Simulations,  Chemistry Community, Online Games and Hit News. The instrument for determining  interest and satisfaction level in using blog was a Li.kert-type questionnaire. The sample of the  study was 86 of first year students in Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) who took Chemistry  I (SKU 3013). The data was collected at the end of the semester 1 session 2010/2011. Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengetahui elemen-elemen penting yang diperlukan pelajar bagi membantu proses pembelajaran. Data dikumpul melalui soal selidik dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan Statistical Package for The Social Science (SPSS). Nilai min digunakan untuk menentukan aras kepentingan setiap elemen yang dikaji. Kajian ini dijalankan ke atas 380 orang pelajar-pelajar ijazah sarjana muda di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). Sebanyak 47 elemen yang meliputi elemen-elemen keperluan kursus, komunikasi, penilaian dan capaian maklumat telah dikaj i untuk menentukan sejauh mana kepentingan elemen-elemen tersebut dalam portal pendidikan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keberkesanan Teori Sistem Semantik Penuh (Full System Semantic)  dan Teori Relevans terhadap pengajaran dan pembelajaran di bilik darjah. Kajian ini menggunakan  reka bentuk kajian lapangan, iaitu merakamkan secara langsung pengajaran guru. Di samping rakaman,  borang pemerhatian juga digunakan untuk mencatat konteks yang dihasilkan oleh guru dan murid.  Sampel pula terdiri daripada guru dan murid bagi mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu, Geografi dan  Pendidikan Agama Islam. Kajian kes ini dijalankan untuk meninjau pandangan guru terhadap penglibatan murid bermasalah  pendengaran di dalam aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaran di bilik darjah bagi mata pelajaran  Bahasa Melayu dan Matematik serta mengenal pasti faktor penggalak dan penghalang penglibatan murid  di dalam aktiviti berkenaan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti keunggulan kepengarangan Mu.Anbuchelvan terhadap lima kumpulan cerpen yang memuatkan 49 buah karya yang dihasilkan dari tahun 1971 hingga 2008. Objektif kajian ialah meneliti kehadiran subjek dan persoalan, menghuraikan perlanggaran dan pengukuhan dalam cerpen dan menilai pencapaian pengarang mengikut kriteria teori teksdealisme. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori sastera teksdealisme untuk melihat mutu dan keunggulan teks pengarang. Empat prinsip yang menjadi landasan teori ini ialah prinsip kehadiran, prinsip perlanggaran, prinsip pengukuhan dan prinsip keperibadian.
