This  study  examined  the  effect  of  Mindfulness  Acceptance  Commitment-Physical  (MAC-P)  on anaerobic performance. The MAC-P specifically designed for anaerobic training, and has its validity and  reliability.  The  study used  non-randomized  control  group  pretest-posttest  design.  Research instrument consisted of Wingate Test to evaluate anaerobic performance in terms of peak power, mean power and anaerobic fatigue index. Subjects were semester one Coaching Science students from Sultan Idris Education University, divided into MAC-P (n = 21), PST (n = 21) and control (n = 21) group.  Analysis  of  Covariance  (ANCOVA)  showed  significant  effect  of  the  intervention  on  the achievement of post anaerobic peak power [F(2, 59) = 19.18, p < 0.05] and mean power [F(2, 59) = 3.60, p < 0.05]. However, the interventions did not have significant effect on post anaerobic fatigue. In conclusion, the MAC-P has prominent effect on  anaerobic performance.....

This study aims to determine whether board diversity influence the quality of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure. Board diversity in this study refers to heterogeneity in board gender, education level, education background, age, ethnic, tenure and nationality. This study also aims to examine the effect of quality of CSR disclosure on firm performance. In addition, it investigates whether quality of CSR disclosure mediate the relationship between board diversity and firm performance. Agency theory has been employed to support the linkage among board diversity, CSR disclosure and firm performance. The data was collected from annual reports of 200 selected companies listed in Bursa Malaysia from 2009 to 2013. Endogeneity problems had been remedied using twostage least square. This qualitative study was carried out to explore the understanding of Form Four students about the concept of quadratic equations, to identify the errors made by students when solving quadratic equations and also to identify the reasons why the misconceptions about quadratic equations occurred among students. Ten students were selected through purposive sampling. Data of this study consisted of verbal information and non-verbal information which was collected through interviews and test-questions. The data was analyzed through transcription. The findings of the study showed that students have their own understanding about the concept of quadratic equations. The findings also suggested that students committed seven types or errors when they were solving quadratic equations, i.e. assuming there is only one answer, creating own rules, factorization, invalid cancellation, not writing the equation in the standard form, not putting factorization equals to ‘0’ and basic algebraic operati.....

The purpose of the study is to gauge the compentency level regarding the application of computer softwares among the secondary schools teachers of Visual Arts Education in the district of Kubang Pasu, Kedah. It was a case study using a qualitative approach. The respondents were selected using a purposive sampling method. A sample of seventeen respondents were involved in this study. The data was gethered through questionaire, interview an observation. These data were analyzed inductively and sistemetically. The results of the study had found that the respondents had achieved certain level of compentency including th application of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator softwares, ability to use the printer, scanners, projectors and digital cameras. They were also able to use computers in the teaching and learning process. However the study also revealed that the level of computer application among these respondents was low. Kajian ini juga meneliti masalah yang dihadapi oleh usahawan wanita semasa mengendalikan perniagaan mereka. Reka bentuk kajian ialah kajian kuantitatif di mana maklumat dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan soal selidik. Sampel adalah terdiri daripada 60 orang wan ita yang terlibat dalam aktiviti keusahawanan di Kota Bharu dan Tanah Merah.
