Tourism is an economic sector that is increasingly growing in importance to most poor and developing countries especially in rural areas and in the interior. Tourism activities have the ability to stimulate regional development rapidly which in turn benefits the locals. However, there is also a situation whereby its development is not equally beneficial to the government, investors and locals despite the rapidly developing tourism activities in that area. Pro Poor Tourism (PPT) is a mechanism that is able to benefit the poor at tourism centres; several strategies and approaches were identified as capable of increasing the cooperative bonding between the government, private sectors and local population as well as providing benefits to all three parties without ignoring the locals in the area. Metode kajian menggunakan penulisan tokoh dalam bidang pendidikan anak-anak dan kekeluargaan Islam untuk menghasilkan konsep dan item amalan keibubapaan. Tiga proses pengukuran iaitu memberi definisi kepada konsep, memilih pengukuran untuk konsep dan memperoleh maklumat empirikal digunakan. Dua konstruk amalan keibubapaan iaitu amalan awal dan amalan khusus keibubapaan dibina. Amalan awal mempunyai 11 item meliputi tiga subkonstruk iaitu sebelum kelahiran, semasa dan selepas kelahiran anak. Amalan khusus keibubapaan mempunyai 59 item dengan lapan subkonstruk bagi pendidikan aqidah, ibadah, sosial, akhlak, emosi, intelektual, pendidikan jasmani/kesihatan dan seksualiti. Lima kaedah mendidik anak dimasukkan dalam setiap skala iaitu kaedah bimbingan dan nasihat, qudwah, pengawasan/pemerhatian, kebiasaan dan hukuman. 5 | 2019 article | Construction and validity of module to empower bully handling of wardens and students in boarding secondary schools in Malaysia Fauziah Binti Mohd Saad This study was aimed to construct and test the validity of Module to Empower Bully Handling by using Cognitive Behavior Therapy This survey-designed study was using questionnaires to get the validity value of the module. MEBH is a module consists of 12 strategies and 23 self-activities. The questionnaires used were Module Validity Testing Questionnaire by Russell (1974) and Module Validity Testing Questionnaire based on Strategies and Activities by Mohammad Aziz Shah (2010). The content validity of MEBH was assessed by nine experts consist of academicians and practitioners in guidance and counseling field. Based on Russell (1974), the analysis value of content validity of this module was high which is 93.00%. 6 | 2019 article | Domestic visitors safety and security in urban environments: some major issues in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre Fauziah Che Leh This article aims to discuss the level of safety and security of domestic visitors in eight urban tourism destinations in Kuala Lumpur city centre. Discussing safety and security importance for urban tourism destinations because it can influence of frequency and severity among tourist. Primary data were gathered from questionnaire surveys of 192 randomly sampled domestic visitors who are willing to be the respondents of the study. The findings indicated the reality of some security and safety issues faced by the Kuala Lumpur domestic visitors. The results show that concerns and anxieties have arisen among domestic visitors to their safety in the urban tourist location in the heart of Kuala Lumpur during their visit to the site. This harms the location of city tourism in downtown Kuala Lumpur in the future if it is not resolved. The research was carried out by using qualitative methods by analyzing official colonial documents, annual report and writing on paddy cultivation in Perak. The Results showed that the District of Lower Perak had paddy cultivation area that had been developed during the British colonial era. Subsequently, COVID-19 was deemed a worldwide pandemic, as it had infected a large geographical area with a very high population density. As of 2 November 2020, more than 46,639,757 COVID-19 cases, and a total of 1,202,013 deaths, have been reported globally, and the number continues to grow. This research applied purposive sampling by using a questionnaire as a primary data collection and distributed to the respondent by Google Form. 100 trainee teachers undergoing teaching training sessions in various schools in Malaysia were selected as the study sample and the data collection was carried out from April to June 2020. By using SPSS, descriptive analyses such as frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used to analyse and present the data. The findings of the study showed that the mean values for the level of knowledge (mean = 4.09), skills (mean = 3.69) and attitude (mean = 3.98) are high.
