This study aimed at testing the validity of the measurement model Teacher Leadership Practices. The measurement tools of the validity and reliability of the Teacher Leadership Practice consists of 53 items with seven domains i) Facilitating improvements in instruction and student learning, ii) Leadership attributes and skills, iii) Developing the organization through management and administration, iv) Fostering a collaborative culture to support educator development and student learning, v) Practicing professional learning for continuous improvement, vi) Enhancing collaboration with various stakeholders, vii) Making exemplary contribution towards becoming referral leader. The study involved 150 primary and secondary school teachers from several schools in the state of Perak and Selangor in Malaysia. A conceptual review on the relationship between teacher self-efficacy and organisational citizenship behaviour

The main objective of this study is to examine the relationship between dimensionality of teacher self-efficacy and organisational citizenship behaviour amongst teachers at government school, Malaysia. Teacher self-efficacy is comprised of personal teaching efficacy and general teaching efficacy. A research issue is highlighted and discussed in detail and thoroughly. A theoretical background for both construct: efficacy theory and organisational citizenship behaviour have been systematically and clearly discussed. Both constructs are also found to be significantly contributed to the school achievement positively. The conceptual framework is also developed based on past empirical arguments. Numerous contributions are pointed out and adequate justification is provided. Past studies revealed and confirmed the relationship between personal teaching efficacy and organisational citizenship behaviour as well as between general teaching efficacy and organisational citizenship behaviour. Teachers perception of students knowledge, skills and attitudes on global citizenship

The purpose of this study is to identify teachers’ view on students’ degree of knowledge, skills, and attitudes relating to global citizenship issues. A total of 87 primary and secondary school teachers from several states were selected. This study used questionnaires to collect data. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings showed that the level of knowledge is relatively high, while students’ degree of skills and attitudes about global citizenship are relatively moderate. In addition, at the primary school level, the mean scores are relatively low compared to the secondary school level. The findings also showed that students' knowledge, skills, and attitudes in secondary schools are higher than in primary schools. This study proposed a more structured global citizenship education to be embedded in the schools’ education structure and as a guideline that can be followed by all teachers to produce students who are willing to become aspiring global citiz.....
