Analisis struktur luaran Bahasa ke atas Haiku Na.Patchaibalan

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji struktur luaran bahasa dalam haiku karya Na.Patchaibalan bagi mengenalpasti struktur sebenar haiku dan cara penghasilan yang betul. Kajian ini dapat menjawab persoalan tentang struktur bahasa yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan haiku yang sempurna. Struktur yang dikaji merangkumi empat aspek utama iaitu bentuk haiku, penggunaan kata, suku kata, dan jenis yang digunakan oleh penyair. Kajian ini dijalankan menggunakan mod kualitatif dan dihurai secara deskriptif. Maklumat dan data diperolehi dengan kaedah kajian kepustakaan dibuat dengan mencari bahan-bahan rujukan di Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, internet, serta perpustakaan beberapa institut pengajian tinggi awam. Kaedah kepustakaan digunakan secara menyeluruh dalam kajian ini. Penelitian terhadap struktur luaran bahasa haiku Na.Patchaibalan memberi satu gambaran yang menyeluruh tentang struktur luaran haiku dengan teliti. Bentuk haiku yang mempunyai tiga baris pendek dengan pola suku kata yang tidak terik.....

Research shows that motivation and engagement are essential for effective learning and it is not an easy task to achieve. The latest technique to attract the students is to integrate humour in classroom teaching. Humour is an often-overlooked skill in teaching as the teachers are not trained in the use of humour and it is not a part of any curriculum and they consider teaching is a serious business and they are not supposed to be entertainers. Magic tricks represent one of the humour items that can be effectively used at all levels of teaching from schools to colleges. Also, it can be used as teaching aid and it can be termed as‘ice-breaker’. The ‘Primacy and recencey effect’ and ‘Zeigarnick effect’ gives a strong theoretical basis for the use of magic as an ‘ice-breaker’ in the class. Conflicts and problems in new wordformation: a Study on Malaysian Tamil newspaper

This study is about Tamil language word-formation in Malaysian context. The study gives in-depth findings on two research objectives. The objectives are, to identify the conflicts and problems in newly formed words in Tamil language found in Malaysia newspaper and to provide solutions for the problematic newly formed words in Tamil language. Data for this study were collected from Malaysia Nanban newspaper, a popular daily Tamil newspaper in Malaysia. The study used qualitative method of research and also classified as descriptive study. The main instrument used in this study is the Sura’s Tamil – Tamil – English Dictionary. A study on utilizing SPALT technology in the classroom

The objectives of this study are to identify the use of smartphone-assisted language teaching in the classroom and to explore its importance and advantages. Computers, mobile phones, etc. are introduced in the classroom and various studies are being carried out in this area. When compared to such studies, the present study focuses on the use of smartphones in language teaching and also explores its importance. For the present study, data were collected from higher-educational institutions to identify the use of smartphones in classrooms using a structured questionnaire. 100 respondents participated.
