The purpose of this study was to determine the variants of phonology sounds /θ/, /ð/, /ʃ/ and /tʃ/ among different races which are Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races such as Kayan, Melanau and Dusun. In Malaysia, the English language is the second official language and there are varieties on how people of different ethnicity pronounce certain words in their speech.This study was mainly based on the investigation on the pronunciation of words which had those sounds of 32 participants from Sultan Idris Education University. The first language of these participants varied as we have selected eight participants from each category of races. This study was conducted by adapting the variability model developed by William Labov (1970). The findings indicate that the majority of the participants had varieties in the pronunciation of /θ/ and /ð/ sounds. The study aims to build, and acquire content validity and reliability of Pre University Students Stress Inventory. The Pre University Students Stress Inventory’s questionnaires aim at measuring the stress that students at the Foundation Level, Matriculation, Form Six and Pre University students in all Public Universities and Private Institutions of Higher Learning Suffer. Its theoretical basic is based on the theory of Reality by William Glasser (1965). It contains 42 items divided into 5 subscales. These subscales are categorized as follows: subscale 1, the desire for survival, sub-scale 2, the sense of belonging, sub-scale 3 is the desire for power, sub-scale 4 is the desire for freedom and sub-scale 5 is the desire for pleasure. Tujuan  kajian  ini  adalah  untuk  mengenal  pasti  hubungan  antara  media  baharu  dan tingkah  laku devian dalam kalangan pelatih Institusi Pemulihan Akhlak (IPA) di Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan.  Kajian ini menggunakan  reka bentuk kajian kes dan populasi kajian terdiri daripada 170 orang  pelatih daripada Sekolah Tunas Bakti, Taiping (STB) dan Taman Seri Puteri, Batu Gajah (TSP) di  Perak. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 118 orang   pelatih   dipilih   menggunakan   teknik    persampelan   rawak.   Instrumen   yang digunakan  dalam  kajian  ini  adalah  temu  bual   berstruktur  dan  soal  selidik  yang diubahsuai daripada William dan Buss dan Perry. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi masyarakat Iban terhadap tenunan pua sungkit di Batang Ai. Tiga objektif kajian ini ialah untuk mengenal pasti pua sungkit di kawasan Batang Ai, meneliti fungsi pua sungkit dalam kehidupan masyarakat Iban dan melihat perubahan dalam pembuatan pua sungkit yang melibatkan sepuluh buah rumah panjang di Batang Ai, Lubok Antu. Untuk mencapai objektif berkenaan, pengkaji melaksanakan kaedah kepustakaan dan kaedah lapangan dengan mengaplikasikan Teori Budaya (David Kaplan & Albert A. Manners) dan Teori Seni (Robert William). Jenis analisis data kualitatif telah dilakukan ke atas empat belas informan dan lima puluh responden menjelaskan hubungkait di antara penghasilan pua sungkit dengan budaya masyarakat Iban.
