Sikap kesukaan dan keyakinan belia universiti terhadap penggunaan multimedia

Proses transformasi dalam bidang pendidikan memerlukan peralihan yang drastik daripada pengajaran dan pembelajaran bercorak konvensional kepada berteknologi tinggi, iaitu penggunaan multimedia. Transformasi ini telah dicetuskan oleh unsur inovasi dan kreatif dalam penerokaan ilmu pengetahuan yang lebih dinamik. Justeru, penyelidikan ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji hubungan sikap kesukaan dengan keyakinan belia universiti terhadap penggunaan multimedia dalam kursus-kursus pendidikan Bahasa Melayu, selain mengenal pasti faktor-faktornya. Penyelidikan ini membabitkan 500 orang belia universiti; Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris dan Universiti Putra Malaysia. Ini membabitkan 250 orang belia universiti bagi setiap universiti telah dipilih sebagai responden kajian. Pemilihan sampel dibuat secara rawak bertujuan untuk meninjau sikap kesukaan dan keyakinan belia universiti terhadap terhadap penggunaan multimedia dalam kursus-kursus pendidikan Bahasa Melayu. Comparison between conventional and digital essay writing assessment system: Consumer concept and user friendly

Significant changes occurred in education system; teaching and learning technology in this new era. The changes can be revised through the existence of digital assessment system for essay writing. In utilizing and interpreting these changes, this study was conducted to examine the use of digital and conventional assessment system for Form Three among Malay teachers. The survey method was used in this study. The samples of the study are 60 teachers of the national secondary school which taught Malay Language for form three in Selangor and Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. The data are described descriptively and inferentially. Descriptive data are mean and standard deviation. Inferential data was analyzed using ANCOVA statistics. The findings show that there is a significant difference in teachers' opinion on the use of digital assessment system and the use of conventional assessment materials that based on consumer concept and user friendly. Teacher's opinion towards constructive thinking for teaching essay writing based on interactive multimedia integration

Teaching essay writing scenario in this technological era is also aimed on interactive multimedia integration; text and graphics that revolve around inquiry and constructive thinking. In thinking process itself, inquiries are considered fundamental to teachers in teaching essay writing. Hence, this research is conducted to study teacher's opinion on constructive thinking process that based on interactive multimedia integration; text and graphics. Quantitative research design that based survey method is used in accordance with the questionnaire. The samples are 33 Malay Language teachers in Bangsar Zone, Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur. The finding shows that there is a significant correlation between inquiry and constructive thinking, r = 2.01, the level of significant is < 0.05. The effects of virtual text and graphic integration based on interactive multimedia

This study was conducted to examine the effect of virtual text and graphic integration based on interactive multimedia in students’ achievements in Malay Language summary writing. This study considers students’ achievements prior to and following exposure to the virtual integration of text and graphics. This study also identifies significant differences between pre and post- test scores in summary writing. A quasi experimental method was used to measure descriptive and inferential data. A total of 30 form four students were involved as a sample. The results showed a significant difference in mean; that is, F =11.2, significant level < 0.05. The conclusions from the study show that a virtual text and graphic integration, based on interactive multimedia, improves achievement scores in summary writing.
