3 | 2019 article | The framework of mobile E-learning based on embedded technology for rural schools Muhammad Modi Lakulu The problem of using the e-learning system in schools is not about the technology but how to deliver learning contents efficiently via a network. However, the conditions of most existing network infrastructure are not conducive for such a use, which inevitably becomes a huge obstacle to delivering such contents. In particular, such an obstacle is more critical in rural areas where the internet connection is nearly non-existent. Unmitigated, this will adversely affect the government’s effort to bridge the digital divide between urban and rural schools. Premised in this context, the research was carried out with the main aim to propose a new framework for cost-effective e-learning based on embedded technology for rural school with affordable cost. To conceptualize such a framework, the researchers analyzed several existing frameworks that are commonly used in most schools. In addition, a survey was carried out to examine the level of adoption of Internet use among teachers. The main fi..... 1098 hits |
4 | 2019 article | Augmented reality for the disabled: review articles Muhammad Modi Lakulu Augmented Reality or "AR" has been recognized for its significant importance in different areas of technology, not to mention its significant presence in the education sector. This research aimed to map the relevant literature on AR usage with the aim of rehabilitating people with disabilities. The search was performed on three databases: Science Direct, IEEE Explore and Web of Science from 2013 to 2018. . Based on our inclusion and exclusion criteria, (n=13) articles were selected. Seven of the studies (n=7/13) intellectual disability. Six of the studies (n=6/6) physical disability. The basic idea of this article is to measure the size of the virtual environment utilization in order to rehabilitate the disabled, in addition to the ability of modern technology to restore people with disabilities to normal life and integration into society. This research is expected to display the current literature in this area and to increase the understanding of this research field

K-means clustering is one of the classical and most widely used clustering algorithms shows its efficiency in many traditional applications its defect appears obviously when the data set to become much more complicated. Based on some research on K-means algorithm shows that Number of a cluster of K-means cannot easily be specified in much real-world application, several algorithms requiring the number of cluster as a parameter cannot be effectively employed. 7 | 2021 article | Experience moderator effect on the variables that influence intention to use mobile learning Muhammad Modi Lakulu The study has two objectives, first is exploring the variables that affect the intention to use mobile learning and second is investigating the experience moderator effect on the variables that influence intention to use mobile learning in higher education institutions (HEI) in Iraq. Then formulate a model for intention to use mobile learning. A questionnaire has been conducted in this research for collecting the feedback from the participants. The findings confirmed that social influence (SI), performance expectancy (PE), “facilitating conditions” (FCs), effort expectancy (EE) and “satisfaction” (SA) have an important influence on the intention to use mobile learning. But, this study has rejected the “personal innovativeness” (PINN) factor as it was found not important. Furthermore, the study has confirmed that the experience moderator variable has an influence of EE, SI, and PE on the intention to use mobile learning. This study is significant to the field of discipline a..... 782 hits |
8 | 2023 article | Advancing preeclampsia prediction with machine learning: a comprehensive systematic literature review Muhammad Modi Lakulu Preeclampsia is one of the leading causes of maternal mortality, which is a serious problem during pregnancy, which is further complicated by issues related to pathophysiology and etiology. The focus of this research is on the early detection of preeclampsia by using machine learning with multiple algorithms. Specifically, the aim of this study is to identify the causes of preeclampsia. A total of 21 articles were obtained from four scientific databases, namely ScienceDirect, Scopus, IEEE, and PubMed, which were published between 2018 and 2022, using several keywords such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Prediction, and Preeclampsia. The method of the review adhered to the principles outlined in a guideline published by Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis (PRISMA). The systematic review of these articles was focused on the accuracy of prediction of preeclampsia using machine learning. The results showed machine learning was the most popular me..... 84 hits |
9 | 2023 article | Model of intention and actual use mobile learning in higher education institutions in Iraq Muhammad Modi Lakulu Mobile learning (ML) is now involved in the creation of teaching and learning methods for higher education. However, this involvement is varied among countries. The objective of this research was to examine the factors that impact students' intentions to use ML in Iraqi higher education institutions (HEIs). Building on unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) and information system success model (ISSM), a conceptual model was developed. The population of this study are users in Iraqi univeristies. Using a stratified random sampling, a total of 323 responses were collected to examine the proposed hypotheses. The findings showed that variables of UTAUT such as effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI), performance expectancy (PE), facilitating conditions (FC) as well as variables of ISSM such as satisfaction along with perceived enjoyment and self efficacy affected positively the intention to use ML (ITUML) which in turn affected actual use (AU). 10 | 2023 article | The moderating effects of gender on factors affecting the intention to use mobile learning Muhammad Modi Lakulu Aim/Purpose The main aims of this research are to explore the moderating effects of gender on the relationships of such factors and the intention to use mobile learning, to examine the factors that influence m-learning acceptance in the universities and higher education institutions (HEI) in Iraq, and to investigate the influence of the intention to use on the actual use of mobile learning in (HEI). Background Over recent decades, mobile learning has played an increasingly important role in the teaching and learning process, especially for higher education. As such, acceptance and use of mobile learning has become a topic of interest within the education sector. In this regard, UTAUT is one of the widely used models for examining users intention for use and acceptance of information technology. Methodology A survey method was used in this study involving a sample of 323 participants recruited from several universities in Iraq. Contribution This study has made significant contributions ..... 67 hits |
