This research aims to survey the responds and subscriptions of UPSI staffs to takaful family products which are offered by takaful companies based on several factors. Samples of 726 respondents are selected from academic and non academic staffs. The questionnaire forms are used in gathering information related to the research which are then analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 software, research outcome show that 83 percent of respondents subscribe to insurance offered by takaful or conventional insurance companies. On the other hand, only 17 percent of the respondents are not involved with any insurance products. From the figure, 48 percent of the respondents opt to products by takaful whereas the rest tends to choose conventional insurance products. The research finding proves that security from any risks is the factor for respondents' involvement in takaful or conventional insurance products while religious law is the main factor that contributes in the selection...

This paper describes the results from ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopic studies of diamide ligands namely N,N’-2,6- bis(3-pyridylmethyl)pyridine dicarboxamide (L5) and N,N’-2,6-bis(4-pyridylmethyl)pyridine dicarboxamide (L6) towards chloride, nitrate and chromate anions in solution. The responses of the ligands towards anions are monitored by the changes of the absorbance in the UV spectra. The time interval experiments were conducted from 0 to 3 hours, resulted to the rise of the absorbance of the ligands. The change in the absorbance value is attributed to the increase of interaction between the ligands and anions that is proportional with time. In contrast to the ligands, the absorbance of anion is decreased showing the reduction of anion concentration in the solution. Rapid UV response indicates the sensitivity of these ligands towards anions which at the same time showing promising potential as sensitive anion sensor...

Menerusi era digital revolusi terkini, bidang pendidikan tidak ketinggalan dalam mengalami transformasi ke arah andragogi dan pedagogi secara digital. Seiring dengan keadaan Pandemik Covid-19 yang melanda dunia kini telah merubah keadaan semasa terutamanya sektor pendidikan. Pembelajaran yang dahulunya dijalankan secara bersemuka atau secara fizikal terpaksa diubah kepada pembelajaran dalam talian demi kelangsungan pembelajaran. Ia dilihat sebagai alternatif terbaik bagi memastikan pembelajaran pelajar tidak terhenti semasa pandemik ini. Justeru itu, tujuan utama kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk mengenalpasti persepsi pelajar terhadap pembelajaran mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesihatan (PJK) secara dalam talian di sebuah sekolah dalam daerah Johor Bahru. Seramai 158 orang pelajar tingkatan 4 sekolah tersebut dipilih sebagai responden bagi kajian ini. Kajian ini menggunakan instrumen soal selidik yang mengandungi 25 item soalan dan terbahagi kepada dua konstruk iaitu persepsi.....
