The main objective of this research is to study the effectiveness of arts appreciation session at secondary school, which is to see the factors relating to students that drive the interest in implementing the appreciation session. The research was done based on 165 respondents who are form three students from 3 schools in the District of Tumpat. From the literature review being done, the researcher sees the main need of the arts appreciation session being implemented at school is to train students to think and communicate through the language of arts. At the same time, it encourages the sensitiveness of student's senses in having the attitude of accepting and rejecting as well as having practical taste on an object of art or other matters in their daily life. In general, students are creative, expressive and active. Pendidikan Seni Visual (Visual Arts Study) plays a role in developing these attitudes through visual perception, imagination and thinking.
