The study aimed to analyze the relationship between family disintegration and academic achievement among 12th-grade students in Salalah, Oman, while examining psychological anxiety as a mediating variable in this relationship. It also sought to assess students' levels of psychological anxiety and measure the direct and indirect effects of family disintegration on their academic performance. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, applying a validated questionnaire to a sample of 310 students. The questionnaire covered three main dimensions: family disintegration, psychological anxiety, and academic achievement. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to assess the relationships between variables.
