Analysis of meteorological drought in Tihama Plain, Yemen using Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI)

Abstract

Meteorological drought occurs when precipitation rate is less than usual for a period of time in affected areas. This article aims to analyse the meteorological drought in the Tihama Plain, as one of the most important agricultural areas in Yemen contributing 42 percent to the total agricultural production in the country. The study attempts to find out if the plain is currently facing drought conditions through analysing the rainfall data obtained from five meteorological stations for the past 30 years (1980-2010). The Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) method normally gives best results regardless of other climatic parameters such as humidity, minimum and maximum temperature, potential evapotranspiration and sun hours as it gives accurate result using only precipitation data. Abstract

The study aims to describe and analyze the educational curriculum and its foundation in the book "Tajdidu an-Nahwi" written by Sauqi Dhaif and to show the difference between the book and "nahwu" used in some schools and boarding schools. This study is a descriptive literature study, and researchers use documentation methods to collect data about "nahwu". Researchers use content analysis methods to analyze data. The main source of this research is from books written by Sauqi Dhaif, especially his book Tajdid an-Nahwi. Secondary sources in this study are indicative books containing the opinions of Sauqi Dhaif and those related to this study. This study aimed to investigate the direct impact of total quality management (TQM), leadership, innovation, and organizational culture on the organizational performance of the Dubai police, and the mediating role of organizational culture. A quantitative research approach was employed. Data were collected using questionnaires from a sample of 314 Dubai Police officers, which were selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The preliminary analysis and descriptive statistics were run using SPSS version 25 while hypotheses were tested using the structural equation modelling via Smart PLS version 3. Abstract

Quality of life is an analytic element with having lots of significance in employee_s life. A high quality of life is essential for an organization to continue to attract and keep employee. This study aimed to find out the factors that have an impact and impact of quality of work life and work health life balance of pharmaceutical employees. This study also will identify the relationships between the factors of quality of life with Work-Life balance. The data were obtained from 135 pharmaceutical employees by using Krejcie and Morgan Sampling Method. According to Krejcie and Morgan sampling method, for 200 people, 135 sample sizes are enough. For the data analysis, explanatory factor analysis and Pearson Correlation were conducted by using the SAS software. Abstract

The study of al-Maghazi and al-Siyar is considered a practical application of the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet. Therefore, scholars made efforts to compile the narrations of al-Maghazi and al-Siyar, and to explain. criticize and scrutinize them in order to distinguish the sound (sahih) narrations from the weak (dhaif). Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah is one of the scholars who critically engage with these narrations in his treatise Zaad al-Maad. This research is aimed at elaborating his methodology in the usage of these narrations in argumentation and in the application of al-Isti 'nas (leniency in the usage of al-Maghazi and aiSiyar as supporting evidence ill argument), its conditions, benefits and scopes. TIns study reveals the yardstick which are relied on by Ibn al-Qayyim to criticize the ascription (sanad) and the text (matan) of these narrations in comparison to the yardstick applied by other scholars in textual criticism. Analisis hadis-hadis dalam ceramah Israk Mikraj di institusi masjid negeri Melaka

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis hadis-hadis yang digunakan dalam ceramah Israk dan Mikraj di institusi masjid negeri Melaka. Sebanyak 31 buah hadis dikenalpasti digunakan dalam dua belas sesi ceramah Israk dan Mikraj yang dijalankan. Pendekatan kualitatif melalui kaedah analisis dokumen digunakan untuk mendapatkan maklumat berkaitan sumber dan kedudukan hukum berdasarkan kaedah Takhrij al-Hadith dan al- Hukm ‘Ala al-Hadith. Rangkaian perawi, komentar para ulama terhadap rangkaian tersebut dan komentar para ulama al-nuqq?d terhadap perawi-perawinya pula dianalisis menggunakan kaedah al-Jarh wa al-Ta’dil. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa secara keseluruhan terdapat sebanyak 14 buah hadis bersamaan 45% yang digunakan dalam ceramah Israk Mikraj bertaraf sahih. Hadis bertaraf hasan pula hanya satu iaitu mewakili 3%. Tujuh buah hadis dhaif iaitu 23% dan 3 buah hadis bertara.....
