Service quality, organisational culture and technology acceptance towards 1BestariNet application in Northern Malaysia

Abstract

Since a decade ago, the Malaysian educational system has undergone a tremendous transformation due to recent technological advancement. To achieve the targets in the Malaysian Educational Blueprint, comprehensive usage of technology is crucial, not only in teaching and learning but also in management and administration. This study had been conducted using online administered questionnaires. About 80 secondary school teachers randomly selected in northern states of Malaysia, managed to complete all the questions in the questionnaires. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS. It was found that organizational culture and technological acceptance influenced the 1BestariNet application but service quality did not. As such, this study had been conducted to fill in the gaps in previous research, especially in terms of the extent of the influence of service quality, organizational culture and technology acceptance on the 1BestariNet application. Abstract

Penyata Razak 1956 dan Ordinan Pelajaran 1957 adalah langkah awal dalam sejarah pendidikan Malaysia dalam mewujudkan usaha mengeratkan perpaduan antara masyarakat majmuk yang dihuni bersama lebih dari enam dekad. Pada abad ke-21, kepesatan dan kemajuan teknologi menyebabkan KPM berusaha untuk mentransformasikan masyarakat Malaysia kepada masyarakat bermaklumat, maka pelbagai inisiatif dilaksanakan bagi mengintegrasikan penggunaan teknologi maklumat dan multimedia dalam pembelajaran dan pemudahcaraan (PdPc) sejajar dengan Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia (PPPM 2013-2025). Oleh yang demikian, Kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti faktor penerimaan teknologi dan budaya organisasi mempengaruhi aplikasi perkhidmatan 1BestariNet dalam kalangan guru-guru sekolah menengah di Pulau Pinang. Pengaruh penerimaan teknologi budaya organisasi dan kualiti perkhidmatan terhadap aplikasi perkhidmatan 1BestariNet

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti pengaruh faktor penerimaan teknologi, budaya organisasi dan kualiti perkhidmatan terhadap aplikasi perkhidmatan 1BestariNet dalam kalangan guru sekolah rendah di Pulau Pinang. Kajian kuantitatif ini menggunakan soal selidik yang telah diedarkan kepada 314 orang responden secara rawak sistematik. Data telah dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferens. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan sebanyak 80.2 peratus variasi di dalam aplikasi perkhidmatan 1BestariNet diterangkan oleh pemboleh ubah bebas. Empat pemboleh ubah bebas iaitu prestasi (β =0.781; p=0.00), kreativiti (β=0.217; p=0.016), ganjaran (β= −0.078; p=0.017) dan komunikasi (β= −0.105; p=0.002) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap aplikasi perkhidmatan 1BestariNet. Efforts of scholars of interpretation in the movement of literary and linguistic criticism in the third century AH

Abstract

The observer of the critical movement in the second century of Hijra notices that until the end of the second century AH, that criticism remained an innate criticism based on taste and emotion with literary influence. This critical effort combined grammar and rhetorical appreciation that was associated with looking at the Qur’anic text, and the evidence needed for that from the words and poems of the Arabs. In addition to that, criticism remained a marginal work for those critics, most of whom were linguists who were preoccupied with narrating poetry and purifying it from the parable, and strange explanations.
