Seni sebagai terapi banduan melalui program kreatif seni di penjara Malaysia

Abstract

Kajian rintis yang dilaksanakan ini merupakan program seni sebagai terapi melalui program seni kreatif di penjara Kajang Malaysia. Ia terdiri daripada aktiviti melukis menggunakan pelbagai medium seni yang melibatkan 20 orang banduan lelaki dan 20 orang banduan wanita berumur antara 21 hingga 63 tahun. Tempoh program ini adalah selama 12 minggu dan 3 jam bagi setiap sesi. Rangka kerja untuk program ini disediakan hasil dari tinjauan literatur dan input dari sesi temubual berstruktur yang dijalankan dengan pakar psikologi dari Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) serta pegawai psikologi penjara dari Pusat Koreksional Perlis. Program akan dijalankan di bengkel vokasional penjara berdasarkan tema spesifik menggunakan medium seni seperti kertas lukisan, pen dakwat dan cat air. Kajian ini juga membincangkan tentang kaedah untuk memperkenalkan rangka program yang dicadangkan di penjara Malaysia. Abstract

Elektrik merupakan sumber yang penting dalam pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi di seluruh dunia termasuk Malaysia. Penggunaan tenaga elektrik digunakan bagi menggerakkan pelbagai sektor di Malaysia seperti sektor industri, komersial, perlombongan, domestik dan lain lain. Maka, kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk menganalisis pola bagi penggunaan tenaga elektrik di Malaysia dalam pelbagai sektor serta meramalkan nilai penggunaannya pada tahun 2022 sehingga tahun 2024. Analisis pola dan peramalan ini penting untuk mengetahui dengan lebih lanjut mengenai penggunaan tenaga dalam pelbagai sektor di Malaysia sama ada semakin meningkat atau menurun beserta faktor-faktor yang mendorong kepada terjadinya hal tersebut dan berdasarkan keputusan ini ia dapat membantu banyak pihak untuk terus mengekalkan kecekapan penggunaan tenaga elektrik di Malaysia. Abstract

A teacher's quality is the most significant school-based factor in determining student outcomes. The quality of a system cannot exceed the quality of its teachers. In Secondary School Standard Curriculum, the cooperative learning strategy is based on 21st-century learning. The teaching and learning process is an important planning step that visual art teachers do while managing visual art education activities that are targeted at accomplishing certain learning goals. Uncovering emerging trends in technology and art education: A bibliometric mapping analysis

Abstract

The rapid advancements in technology have opened up new doors for both teachers and students to explore, learn, and create in innovative ways. However, this progress has also brought forth new challenges and complexities that demand a deeper understanding of the use of technology in art education. In this context, bibliometric analysis has emerged as a potent tool to examine emerging trends in the intersection of technology and art education. Employing the PRISMA approach (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) and utilizing relevant Scopus databases with standardized procedures that ensure comprehensiveness and replicability, this bibliometric study identified 29 articles. The number of published articles in 2022, at 12, exceeded that of 2021, with only 6. Technology applications through cooperative learning in visual arts education among students in inclusive education programs: A fuzzy delphi approach

Abstract

The post-COVID era has transformed the landscape of teaching and learning worldwide, including in Malaysia. The integration of technology has become an essential element in line with current needs and drastic changes in the world. The integration of technology can facilitate comprehensive and holistic teaching and learning processes. Teachers face challenges in designing and implementing teaching and learning for students in inclusive education programs. Therefore, this study aims to examine the elements required to integrate the use of applications in visual arts education. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Fuzzy Delphi technique. A questionnaire instrument was used to collect research data. A total of 16 experts from the fields of visual arts education, special education, and curriculum development were involved in the process of shaping this model. Translanguaging strategy in writing practice among primary school students

Abstract

This study highlights the problems faced by primary students in learning English language, studying the effects of the translanguaging strategy in writing and investigating the students_ perceptions on the translanguaging strategy for their writing practice. Five students participated in this qualitative study and three types of data were collected through students_ written essay, classroom intervention and students_ interviews. The results revealed that the students_ were having difficulties learning English monolingually in the classroom. After the implementation of translanguaging strategy, the students interacted more, understood the lesson better, participated actively in classroom discussion and felt more comfortable to exchange ideas with classmates. Results of the students_ written essay also shows that the students improved gradually as they made less spelling errors, produced better sentence structures and were able form new vocabulary and wrote grammatically correct sentence.....
