Komunikasi antara guru dan murid dalam pengajaran penulisan bahasa Melayu

Abstract

Kajian ini meneliti perspektif komunikasi dalam pengajaran penulisan Bahasa Melayu di dalam kelas tingkatan 5 Aset di sebuah sekolah menengah. Tujuan kajian ini untuk mengenal pasti keberkesanan komunikasi antara guru dan murid dalam pengajaran penulisan. Selain itu, kajian ini dilaksanakan semasa proses pengajaran berlangsung di dalam bilik darjah dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kajian kes. Seramai 6 orang responden telah dipilih untuk ditemu bual. Pengkaji menggunakan kaedah pemerhatian, temubual dan rakaman audio sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Penganalisisan data dibuat semasa dan selepas temu bual dijalankan. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa komunikasi dalam pengajaran penulisan dipengaruh oleh ketiga-tiga elemen pemboleh ubah yang disebutkan iaitu pemerhatian, temu bual dan rakaman audio selain pengalaman mengajar. ..

Factors driving the intention to adopt a tobacco-free policy among employees in a public higher education institution

Abstract

Due to their role as a centre of knowledge and character development,public higher education institutions serve as the best platform for emphasising health communication messages and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Higher educational institutions’ employees should have good physical and mental health to enable them to demonstrate good values to the students. Thus, the social cognitive theory (SCT) was specifically selected to take a close look at how a conducive environment and knowledge influence employees’ intention towards the tobacco-free policy. This study used the partial least squares (PLS) and structural equation modelling (SEM) software to examine factors influencing the adoption of tobacco-free policy among employees in a Malaysian higher education institution. It also measured the impact of workplace health promotion on employees’ intention to comply with tobacco cessation regulations. Abstract

Islamic Studies is one of the core subjects that require to be taken by each and every Muslim student in Malaysia. Even though these subjects are considered trivial by public and deemed nonessential compared to other subjects, instead it requires high concentration and focus from the students. Each year, the increment of students that failed in this subject arise. Therefore, study shows the Blended Learning method by combining application of Google Classroom and VAK learning style in the process of teaching and learning will overcome arise matter. Technology consolidation such as Google classroom application seem suitable and compatible to the students in this new millennium. Since this Islamic Studies consisting of reading activities, memorizing and practicality the selection of VAK Learning method will provide the most suitable learning pattern to the students. Abstract

Cybersecurity is a multidisciplinary field of study that focuses on preserving and protecting data and information from a wide range of threats and dangers. This study presents a cyber securi ty culture for assessing the knowledge, attitude and practice towards digital marketing communications among small and medium sized entrepreneurs. The objectives of this study were to identify the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of cyber security cultu re toward digital marketing communications among small and medium sized entrepreneurs in Selangor, as well as to look into the relationship between knowledge and practice in this area. Political communication and election campaigning on instagram during the 14th Malaysian general election

Abstract

Researching Instagram as a tool in political communication is a relatively new phenomenon since the platform only began to operate in 2010. However due to its increasing popularity, it is definitely time for more studies to be conducted. World leaders are becoming very prominent on Instagram. They are sharing both personal and political contents and are challenging the usually formal and beurecratic nature of political communication. Therefore this study attempts to explore how Instagram affects political communication by focusing on how several Malaysian politicians used Instagram as part of their communication and campaign during the 14th general election that was held on May 8th, 2018. Coding analysis was done on the Instagram posts of 8 prominent Malaysian politicians. The role of communications in the resilience of risk group in Kuching, Sarawak, during the dispersal of covid-19 virus

Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic has significantly interfered with all aspects of human life. Notably, this dangerous epidemic has a more significant impact on the risk group. It has caused them to feel stress, fear, and suffering from the ripple effect of Covid-19. Hence, this disruption occurred instantaneously, requiring people to demonstrate noteworthy adaptability and resiliency through communication. Therefore, this study examined the two dimensions of communication, namely self-centred communication (knowledge and optimistic thinking) and external communication (family support and media exposure), in predicting the resilience among the risk group in Kuching, Sarawak. The data collection was during the movement control order, so the distribution of the online questionnaire used voluntary response sampling to the target respondents through WhatsApp and social media accounts. Abstract

Makalah ini membincangkan tentang ketokohan Zainal Abidin Ahmad (Za’ba) dan koleksi surat persendirian beliau di Arkib Negara Malaysia (ANM). Koleksi ini dikenalis sebagai Surat Persendirian Za’ba (SP18). Perbincangan dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian (i) Pemikiran dan kepercayaan Za’ba (ii) Koleksi Surat Persendirian Za’ba yang terdapat di Arkib Negara Malaysia (SP18). Tumpuan utama adalah untuk mempersembahkan idea dan pemikiran Za’ba yang diterjemahkan di dalam penulisannya serta sumber sejarah yang boleh diakses oleh masyarakat awam dalam koleksi SP18. Pendeta Za’ba, atau Zainal Abidin bin Ahmad, merupakan seorang cendekiawan Melayu yang dikenali sebagai tokoh serba boleh dalam bidang bahasa, sastera, falsafah, politik, agama, dan pemikiran ekonomi. SP18 terdiri daripada 9,850 unit bahan dan ia termasuklah surat-menyurat, surat khabar dan majalah, terbitan, bahan pandang dengar, manuskrip, hasil penulisan, dan banyak lagi. Abstract

Nama-nama seperti Sahmad Malaya, Baharuddin Zakaria, Yassin Salleh, Arisel BA (Subari Ahmad), Maznan Nordin, M.Z Alias dan Aripin Said sudah tidak asing lagi dalam peta perpuisian Melayu moden di negeri Pahang dan negara amnya. Nama Sahmad Malaya sudah muncul sejak tahun 1950 dan terus terkenal hingga tahun 1970an, kemudian tenggelam timbul dalam tahun-tahun 1980an dan 1990an. Manakala M.Z. Alias Baharuddin Zakaria, Arisel BA dan Aripin Said pula menghiasi era 1970an, 80an dan 1990an. Dalam tahun 1980an, 90an hingga kini, Pahang sudah melahirkan tidak kurang dari sepuluh penyair baru yang berjaya mencapai tahap kematangan seperti Marsli N.O, Yazid Idris, Nazri Sham, Maimunah Ali, Ami Masra, Maimunah Manan dan ramai lagi.
