Abstract

Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti kesesuaian mata pelajaran Sejarah Tingkatan 2 dalam penerapan kemahiran berfikir aras tinggi dan pemupukan nilai-nilai murni di negeri Selangor. Kesesuaian tajuk-tajuk dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah Tingkatan 2 KSSM dikaji sama ada tajuk tersebut boleh menjana kemahiran berfikir aras tinggi (KBAT), memupuk nilai-nilai murni dan nilai-nilai patriotisme serta semangat perpaduan dan kemahiran abad ke-21 dalam kalangan murid Tingkatan 2. Kesesuaian tajuk-tajuk dalam mata pelajaran ini dinilai berdasarkan persepsi guru mengikut pengalaman mengajar. Reka bentuk kajian kes telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Creative drama as an intervention to enhance social and communication skills of children with autism

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the use of creative drama as intervention to enhance social and communication skills of learners with autism. Objectives of the study were to identify the social and communication skills of learners with autism, develop a creative drama module, determine the effectiveness of the activities in the module and identify the changes in the skills of learners with Autism spectrum Disorder (ASD) as they undergo the activities. The case study was conducted at Jose Fabella Memorial School (JFMS), Mandaluyong City, Philippines. Purposive sampling was used involving six learners with ASD whose age ranged from 8 to 11 years old. Samples also involved six parents and six teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, checklists and field notes. Inter-rater checklist results were taken from the six teachers’ and the researcher’s responses. Abstract

Blended learning is the integration of digital tools in supplement to teachers’ teaching in class. Although blended learning has been implemented in higher institutions for decades, blended learning has only been practised in Malaysian secondary schools since Movement Control Order (MCO). Teachers have started using technological platforms such as Google Meet, Google Classroom, YouTube, WhatsApp and Telegram to share information with students heavily since most of the daily lessons could only take place using online platforms at that time. Due to that, there are not many studies on the use of blended learning among secondary school students. Thus, this study investigates secondary school students’ perceptions regarding the use of blended learning and Wakelet Students’ Ambassador Programme.
