Abstract

Peranan Keusahawanan untuk mengurangkan pengangguran dalam kalangan graduan tidak dapat dinafikan dan menjadi langkah yang boleh diambil untuk mencipta peluang pekerjaan yang baru dan seterusnya dapat meningkatkan kebolehpasaran graduan pelajar. Pendedahan berkaitan keusahawanan perlu diperkasakan dan diperkukuhkan supaya boleh menimbulkan niat keusahawanan dalam kalangan pelajar. Oleh itu, kajian ini dijalankan untuk menentukan hubungan faktor-faktor pendorong kepada niat keusahawanan dalam kalangan pelajar ISMP FPE di UPSI. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang melibatkan 150 orang pelajar dan menggunakan teknik pensampelan rawak mudah. Teknik pensampelan rawak mudah dilakukan dengan mengedarkan soal selidik secara dalam talian, menyediakan Quick Respond (QR code). Data dikumpul menggunakan borang soal selidik. Penilaian pelaksanaan Pentaksiran Bilik Darjah (PBD) dalam kalangan guru Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesihatan (PJK) sekolah menengah

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pelaksanaan Pentaksiran Bilik Darjah (PBD) dalam kalangan guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesihatan (PJK). Penilaian secara kuantitatif ini menggunakan model penilaian KIPP dan telah dijalankan ke atas guru-guru PJK di daerah Kota Setar, Kedah. Kajian ini menentukan tahap pelaksanaan PBD PJK berdasarkan empat dimensi model penilaian iaitu Konteks, Input, Proses dan Produk. Kajian ini juga mengukur pengaruh dimensi Konteks, Input, Proses terhadap dimensi Produk, dan seterusnya menentukan peramal terbaik antara ketiga-tiganya. Sejumlah 200 orang guru PJK di daerah Kota Setar dijadikan sampel kajian ini berdasarkan kaedah pensampelan kluster. Soal selidik digunakan dalam kajian ini bagi pengumpulan data kajian. Kesahan konstruk soal selidik ini dibuktikan dengan nilai kolerasi skor dengan jumlah skor yang berada dalam julat 0.301 hingga 0.931. Abstract

This study investigated the effect of peer interaction on mathematical understanding during learning activities among primary school students. This study gives an overview of how peer interaction impacts student understanding of mathematics. It enlightens educators and learners on the importance of communication in the teaching and learning process, especially in mathematics. The objectives of this study are to investigate students’ peer interaction during learning activities and to study the effects of their interaction on their understanding of mathematics while completing their mathematics group tasks. This study employed the qualitative approach. Four Year 5 students, aged between 10 and 11 years old, have been selected through purposive sampling as respondents. Pengaruh kepimpinan dan emosi guru terhadap keberkesanan sekolah di Sekolah Menengah Harian dan Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi di negeri Selangor

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti pengaruh kepimpinan dan emosi guru terhadap keberkesanan sekolah di Sekolah Menengah Harian (SMH) dan Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi (SBT) di Selangor. Kajian ini juga bertujuan mengenal pasti tahap, perbezaan dan hubungan kepimpinan dan emosi guru terhadap keberkesanan sekolah. Kajian kuantitatif ini menggunakan kaedah tinjauan. Instrumen kajian diadaptasi daripada Teacher Leadership Self-Assessment, Teacher Emotion Scale dan School Effectiveness Questionnaire. Seramai 377 guru SMH dan 242 guru SBT di Selangor dipilih sebagai responden dengan menggunakan persampelan rawak bersistematik. Abstract

Kajian ini membangunkan bahan bantu mengajar ChemReKene bagi topik tindak balas penambahan alkena dan mengkaji persepsi pelajar matrikulasi terhadap kemahiran komunikasi dan kolaboratif. Kajian ini merupakan penyelidikan reka bentuk dan pembangunan (PRP) ubah suai tiga fasa. Seramai 107 pelajar sistem empat semester dari sebuah kolej matrikulasi dipilih secara rawak sebagai responden. Kandungan ChemReKene dan soal selidik kemahiran komunikasi dan kolaboratif disahkan oleh lima pakar. Kandungan ChemReKene dianalisis menggunakan indeks kesahan kandungan item dan data kajian daripada soal selidik dianalisis secara deskriptif. Indeks kesahan kandungan ChemReKene adalah sangat baik. Kajian menunjukkan responden bersetuju bahawa kemahiran komunikasi dan kolaboratif mereka tinggi selepas menggunakan ChemReKene. University students represent a significant demographic with the potential to drive behavioural change and promote sustainable practices. By understanding and influencing their energy conservation behaviours, this research contributes to the broader efforts to mitigate environmental impact and foster a culture of sustainability. This study aims to validate the Environment Conservation Behavioural Survey (ECOBS), an instrument designed to assess university students' behaviours and intentions regarding energy conservation, through the lens of the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB). Particularly, the Malaysian government's Movement Control Order (MCO) forced both students and teachers to turn to online learning. Mobile augmented reality in learning chemistry subject: An evaluation of science exploration

Abstract

Various technologies have been used in making teaching and learning sessions more effective, fun, and enjoyable. One of the ways to make teaching and learning interactive is by emphasizing the use of mobile augmented reality (MAR). Thus, this study has proposed using MAR for a chemistry subject, namely science exploration (SCIENEX). This study adopted design and development research (DDR) by employing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model. The phases involved in DDR are ADDIE. SCIENEX was evaluated based on its validity, usability, and effectiveness. Five experts validated SCIENEX after it had been completely developed. The samples for usability testing and effectiveness of SCIENEX were 30 secondary school students who were studying chemistry. Teaching at rehabilitation schools: An exploration of approaches

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the teaching approaches that are appropriate for juveniles so that they can gain knowledge and skills in line with current demands and develop their potential. A qualitative approach was employed, specifically a constructivist grounded theory research design, involving 15 teachers and three administrators from the three rehabilitation schools. To ensure an in-depth exploration of these issues, data was collected using semi-structured interviews. Observations were also carried out in order to support the interview data and to give a full picture from various perspectives. The findings showed that the teachers practiced various teaching approaches that were appropriate for the conditions and problems of the juveniles at the schools, as detailed in this article.
