The article aims to examine cultural diversity levels and problems among students in Malaysian public universities (PU) covering six cultural diversity criteria, namely ethnicity, language, religion, gender, socioeconomic status as well as mental andphysical abilities. Respondents consisted of 330 students who had met two requirements: coming from different varieties of cultural backgrounds and were students of semester three and above. The research instrument used was a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire consisted of 30 item questions. The findings showed that Cronbach's alpha value showed strong reliability of more than 0.7. Actual study findings showed that the language, gender and religion criteria were at high; medium level for mental and physical abilities and ethnicity criteria; low level for socioeconomic status criterion. Penyelidikan dalam bidang pengajian Islam telah berkembang dengan jayanya termasuklah melalui penghasilan penyelidikan ilmiah oleh calon-calon pascasiswazah sama ada di peringkat sarjana mahupun di peringkat doKtor falsafah. Tambahan lagi, pengkhususan dalam pengajian Islam bukan hanya berkaitan pengajian Al-Quran, Hadith, Fiqh ataupun persoalan akidah sematamata. Malah telah merangkumi penyelidikan aspek perundangan, ekonomi dan kewangan, pengurusan, sains politik, pemikiran Islam kontemporari, industri halal serta sains gunaan berkaitan pengajian Islam. Budaya pengasingan guru telah menjadi tradisi dalam sistem pendidikan di kebanyakan negara. Walau bagaimanapun, budaya ini dikatakan tidak berupaya meningkatkan pencapaian murid khususnya dalam arus sistem pendidikan yang semakin kompleks. The article aims to examine the multicultural levels among students in Malaysian public universities based on six multicultural criteria: ethnicity, language, religion, gender, socioeconomic status, and mental and physical capabilities. The study respondents were 330 public university (PU) students who met two requirements for the sample selection, which were having multiple cultural backgrounds and being a student for at least three semesters. The research instrument was a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire consisting of 30 questions related to cultural background. Reliability (Cronbach’s alpha) was in the high classification of greater than 0.7. Mosque plays important roles as the religious organization among Muslims. Despite a sacred place, there are some other socio-economic roles are carried out by these institution such as the Islamic teaching and learning centre, waqf and zakat (alms) management and hearse management. Nevertheless, currently there are increasing number of economic activities executed by mosque leaders to serve the local Muslims community. This study assesses the relationship between strategic orientation initiatives and mosque’s economic performance. The purpose of the study is to identify factors that influence behavioral intention (BI) of teachers in the developing of the MoblieHeutagogical (m-Heutagogical) Acceptance and Use Model. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau persepsi guru terhadap kepentingan amalan pengajaran dan pembelajaran abad 21 dalam sesi PdP mereka bagi tujuan pembangunan pelajar. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kuantitatif dan menggunakan soal selidik sebagai instrumen untuk mengumpul data dari sampel kajian. Instrumen kajian diadaptasi dan diubahsuai dari model Partnership for 21st Century Skills mengikut keperluan persoalan kajian. Soal selidik mengandungi lapan dimensi amalan pengajaran dan pembelajaran abad ke 21. Pemilihan sampel kajian menggunakan persampelan secara rawak. This paper explores the impact of aggregate overqualification on regional economic growth in Malaysia from 2005 to 2017 using Dynamic Panel Data (DPD) approach. The aggregate overqualification was gauged as the percentage of workers with at least a bachelor’s degree qualification who employed in an occupation below than the professional job level. Following the method, while the incidence stood at 1 percent, it was however higher in Kuala Lumpur (4.4 percent) and Selangor (3.9 percent) and was much lower in Perak (-0.26 percent) and Perlis (-0.12 percent). Moreover, the incidence was higher after 2010. Empirical findings revealed strong evidence of negative impact of the aggregate overqualification on regional economic growth. Yet, the magnitudes of the effect were smaller, between 0.02 and 0.03. Further analysis revealed the negative impact was greater in most developed states and for the period after 2010. Halal is a critical issue in society due to the rise of awareness and significant alertness among consumers in getting halal food resources. Therefore, the concept of halalan toyyiban is used as a benchmark to determine the halal status of food products especially for Muslims. This study was aimed to examine the levels of adherence of Malay traders to halal laws which was focused on the Muallim district of Perak. Using a combined method, this study that involved 40 Malay traders, focused on the traders' knowledge regarding the halal concept and halal laws. The hygiene and safety practices among Malay traders when handling food were also examined.
