Metisa plana Walker and Pteroma pendula Joannis are important pests of the oil palm, Elaeis guineensis Jacquin, which is the primary agricultural crop in Malaysia. Although there is a history of integrated management of the bagworms, information gaps exist with regard to their incidence, biology, dispersion and population dynamics. Such new information is needed to improve the current integrated management of these pests. Analysis of historical records of bagworm infestations over 63 955 ha of oil palm in 69 estates in Peninsular Malaysia showed M. plana and P. pendula to be the primary pests. Infestations were of single or mixed species, and ranged from nil to 7811 ha yr-1. Cumulative infestations were 18 297 ha, 4904 ha and 14 607 ha for single species of P. pendula and M. plana, and for mixed species of P. pendula and M. plana, respectively. The reason for this scholarly paper is to study the differences between subjective happiness, hope, and achievement motivation of remedial students in terms of the cumulative grade point average (CGPA) and locations. A total number of five hundred remedial students participated in the study. The majority of the respondents were Malays followed by other ethnics. The study was conducted in Ipoh, Tanjung Malim, Shah Alam, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The researchers used three instruments, namely, the Children’s Hope Scale, Subjective Happiness Scale, and Achievement Goal Questionnaire. The John Cage Variations provide a useful snapshot of a range of score writing techniques employed by Cage throughout this career. From very complex preparations and realisation of parts required in Variations I and II, to the almost non-existent scores of VII and VIII, the complete Variations provide a range of opportunities and challenges. In 2011, Western Australian new music ensemble Decibel developed a software-based score maker and player for the works and presented a series of concerts of the Complete Eight Variations. The performances have led to the development of the John Cage Complete Variations App for the iPad tablet computer, developed in conjunction with Peters Edition. This study is aimed at exploring the mental visualization of Biology students when they are given the abstract concept of Osmosis. The objectives of this study are to describe the mental visualization, to identify the different mental visualization and to depict the information processing in generating the mental visualization of these students of the abstract concept of Osmosis. Ten form four students were selected using the purposive stratified sampling method. They were categorized into two groups, the high achievers and the low achievers based on their previous Science and Biology examination results. The purpose of this research is to build and prepare a teaching and learning module of Malay Keris handicraft that the educators can utilize in their teaching in the secondary schools. This research is focussed in producing a Malay Keris handicraft product whereby it had been thought theoritically only, before, during the teaching process. Therefore, from the results of this research the writer has developed a teaching and learning module of Keris handicraft based on the Curriculum Specifications fixed by the Ministry of Education and Curriculum Development Centre. This text analysis study focused on the novel Kapten Hassan Wira Bangsa (KHWB) to survey and identify the value content in Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah Menengah (KBSM). This novel is published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) in 2000 and penned by Harun Johari, a local author. It was chosen by a committee appointed by Pusat Perkembangan Kurikulum (PPK) after serious procedural selection as a text for literature component as it is filled with KBSM values.
