1 | 2016 Article | Differences in the consumer literacy of the nutrition label across demographic factors Ramdan Mohamad Rohieszan, Zainol Zuraidah, Osman Juliana, Yahaya Rusliza, The worsening obesity problem in Malaysia has urged various efforts from various parties to address them. The effective use of the nutrition labels is widely accepted and used as one of the efficient measures to address obesity. However, previous studies on the literacy of the nutrition label, especially among Malaysian consumers are still limited. Therefore, this study was conducted to assess the differences in consumers’ literacy of the nutrition label by demographic factors, such as gender, age, education level, income level and ethnicity. This study adopted survey technique and employed a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 200 respondents, which were selected using random cluster sampling. Data collected were analyzed using Independent Sample T-Test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). nutrisi ke atas pemilihan makanan sihat. Pendekatan kuantitatif telah digunakan
dalam kajian ini. Data dikumpul daripada sampel yang terdiri daripada 420 orang
responden yang berumur 15 tahun dan ke atas yang tinggal di sekitar Wilayah
Persekutuan Putrajaya. Pemilihan sampel dibuat menggunakan teknik pensampelan
berkelompok dan diikuti dengan rawak sistematik. Data dikumpul menggunakan
borang soal selidik sebagai instrumen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis
deskriptif dan inferens. Analisis deskriptif diguna untuk meringkaskan profil
responden, manakala analisis regresi linear digunakan untuk menguji hipotesishipotesis

Various strategies have been employed by franchisors in expanding their business into the global market. However, few studies have assessed the determinants that can be adopted by the franchisors in bringing value as well as opening up opportunities for global market expansion. This study aims to explore the determinants of global expansion based on Malaysian franchisors’ experience. A qualitative research approach was adopted through various case studies with ten franchisors from the food and beverage industry in Malaysia. In-depth interviews were carried out to explore this topic. Thematic analysis was performed through the “Atlas.ti” software package version 9.0, which was also used in analyzing the data. In Malaysia, most immigrants are workers who later started their own businesses. They have a higher tendency to engage in entrepreneurial activities thus knowledge distribution from previous employment is necessary. Research design, data and methodology: This qualitative study using in-depth interview approach was carried out with five immigrant entrepreneurs from Bangladesh conducting business in Malaysia. The data were gathered and analysed using thematic analysis facilitated by ATLAS.ti software. Fuad Purpose: This study aims to identify the distribution of skill evolution for accounting personnel during the health crisis and investigate the impact of accounting skills in developing resilience among accounting personnel. Research design, data, and methodology: A total of 131 respondents of accounting personnel participated in a self-administered survey questionnaire. This data is analysed using the partial least square structural equation modeling. Results: The results show that accounting skills, digital skills, and writing skills have a significant impact on developing accounting personnel’s motivation, subsequently leading to resilience. Conclusions: This study adds to the literature on the new requirements and future profiles of Malaysian organisation and the accounting profession. Using the Web of Science (WoS), Scopus, and ERIC databases, the review compiles servant leadership research. Guided by Arksey and O’Malley’s methodology, findings emphasize servant leadership’s role in enhancing organizational effectiveness.
