Kajian ini bertujuan membangun dan menilai Modul Pentaksiran Autentik (M-PA) untuk pengajaran matematik Tahun Satu bagi topik Wang, Masa dan Waktu. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk tinjauan melibatkan soal selidik dan kaedah temu bual. Kajian juga menggunakan reka bentuk kuasi eksperimen bagi menentukan keberkesanan pengajaran menggunakan M-PA. Populasi seramai 210 guru matematik Tahun Satu di daerah Kuala Terengganu terlibat dalam kajian ini bagi membangunkan M-PA dengan menggunakan gabungan Model Russell, Model Sharifah Alwiah dan Model Mohd Sidek. Data dianalisis secara analisis deskriptif bagi mendapatkan min dan sisihan piawai, manakala ANCOVA bagi menentukan perbezaan pencapaian murid antara kumpulan kawalan dan kumpulan eksperimen. Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti tahap pengurusan wang dalam kalangan pelajar program Pengajian Diploma Tahfiz al-Quran Wal Qiraat. Seramai 287 responden telah mengambil bahagian dan kaedah pensampelan rawak berperingkat telah digunakan sebagai kaedah pemilihan responden. Data dikumpul menggunakan soal selidik. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferens iaitu analisis ujian-t dan ANOVA. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa kebanyakan pelajar mempunyai tahap pengurusan wang positif yang mana pelajar daripada kumpulan B40 mempunyai pengurusan wang yang lebih baik berbanding kumpulan yang lain. Dari segi pendapatan pelajar; sumber utama diperoleh daripada biasiswa, diikuti dengan pemberian ibu bapa, zakat, sedekah dan lain-lain jenis sumbangan. Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan pelajar memperuntukkan 43.2% dari jumlah perbelanjaan bulanan mereka bagi tujuan pembelian makanan dan minuman. This research was carried out to validate a framework of game-based childhood obesity prevention. A mobile game titled Fight Obesity 2.0 was produced through a five-step gamification approach as an instance of the prevention framework. The game incorporated constructive alignment of intended prevention outcomes and structural game elements. The lean production strategy was deployed to produce a viable serious game with its paratextual materials. The design of the game was validated by 38 game designers through a playtesting session, while the content knowledge was validated by two pediatricians, one from China and another in Malaysia. The game also passed the age rating test under the International Age Rating Coalition. The effects of Fight Obesity 2.0 in actual prevention context was investigated through a non-equivalent control group pre-test / post-test quasiexperiment. The seal is a form of special artistic expression in Chinese painting, and it is an inheritance as a representation of Chinese ancient traditional arts in the modern days. Seal is the final step in completing a Chinese painting. This research aimed to interpret the seal carvings in the ancient Chinese paintings. This research employed a qualitative research design. An interview was conducted to gather qualitative data from four experts, two art teachers and two artists from China. The participants of the study were asked to evaluate and interpret the five paintings of Ni Zan and five paintings of Wang Meng. The findings showed that the seal carvings on ancient Chinese paintings were presented through the art elements such as size, shape, meaning, reading style, and color. Optometrists, ophthalmologists, orthoptists, and other trained medical professionals use fundus photography to monitor the progression of certain eye conditions or diseases. Segmentation of the vessel tree is an essential process of retinal analysis. In this paper, an interactive blood vessel segmentation from retinal fundus image based on Canny edge detection is proposed. Semi-automated segmentation of specific vessels can be done by simply moving the cursor across a particular vessel. The pre-processing stage includes the green color channel extraction, applying Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE), and retinal outline removal. After that, the edge detection techniques, which are based on the Canny algorithm, will be applied. The vessels will be selected interactively on the developed graphical user interface (GUI). The pandemic of Covid-19 has caused a shift of paradigm of education, from face-to-face to e-learning. E-learning leads to an escalation in digitalization of handwritten documents because it requires submission of homework and assignments through online. To help teachers in checking digitalized handwritten homework, this paper proposes an automatic checking system based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) for handwritten numeral recognition. The CNN is used to recognize four arithmetic operations in mathematical questions consisting of addition, deduction, multiplication and division. The performance CNN in handwritten numeral recognition have been optimized in terms of activation function and gradient descent algorithm. The proposed CNN is also trained and tested with the MNIST handwritten data set.
