Validation of mobile multihop relay network model and continuous connectivity analysis

Abstract

Mobile Multihop Relay (MMR) network is an attractive and low-cost solution for expanding service coverage and enhancing throughput of the conventional single hop network. However, mobility of Mobile Station (MS) in MMR network might lead to performance degradation in terms of Quality of Service (QoS). Selecting an appropriate Relay Station (RS) that can support data transmission for high mobility MS to enhance QoS is one of the challenges in MMR network. The main goal of the work is to develop and enhance relay selection mechanisms that can assure continuous connectivity while ensuring QoS in MMR network using NCTUns simulation tools. The approach is to develop and enhance a relay selection for MS with continuous connectivity in non-transparent relay. The evaluation of stochastic mosquito-borne infectious disease mapping model in Malaysia

Abstract

The main aim of this research is to propose an alternative method for estimating relative risk of mosquito-borne infectious disease mapping in Malaysia. This estimation method is based on stochastic SIR-SI model (susceptible-infectiverecovered for human populations; susceptible-infective for mosquito populations). Based on previous research, relative risk estimation used total number of new infective cases at the denominator of the relative risk equation. In this research, relative risk estimation with the used of total posterior mean number of new infective cases at the denominator of the relative risk equation is introduced. This model is then been applied using data of mosquito-borne infectious disease from Malaysia. Data used in this research is provided by the Ministry of Health Malaysia which include 43339 dengue cases, 7 chikungunya cases and 3850 malaria cases for 16 states in Malaysia during year 2013. Abstract

Fara’id al-Fawa’id al-Fikr fi al-Imam al-Mahdi (MSS 2939) adalah karya tulisan Sheikh Daud al-Fatani r.h.m yang diterjemah daripada guru beliau iaitu Sheikh Mar’i bin Yusuf r.h.m. Kajian ini bertujuan mengenalpasti dan menganalisis secara terperinci tentang aspek-aspek ketauhidan, kerasulan dan kesempurnaan Islam berpandukan prinsip-prinsip teori Takmilah. Kajian dibuat menggunakan kaedah kepustakaan dan analisis teks secara deskriptif. Teori Takmilah digunakan dalam menganalisis kandungan teks kerana sejajar dengan konteks kandungannya yang meletakkan tauhid sebagai tunjang utama karya bercirikan Islam. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa naskhah manuskrip MSS 2939 memperlihatkan unsur-unsur tauhid sejajar dengan prinsip ketuhanan yang bersifat Kamal. This research was conducted to develop the education kit for TL Resistor Color Code (RCC). The main purpose of this education kit development is to help students understand the RCC through a fun learning environment based on hands-on learning activity. Integrasi aktiviti muzikal dalam matematik merupakan strategi pengajaran guru yang berfokuskan kepada penguasaan kandungan pembelajaran dalam kalangan murid. Di antara aktiviti muzikal dalam pembelajaran matematik adalah melibatkan pendedahan murid kepada elemen muzik seperti pic, tempo dan irama. Integrasi aktiviti muzikal dalam pembelajaran matematik di Malaysia mula ditekankan sejak Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia menyarankan guru-guru agar mengaplikasikan gaya pembelajaran abad ke-21 dalam bilik darjah. Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis kedudukan al-Wāqidī di sisi Ibn Ḥajar dan metodologi beliau ketika berinteraksi dengan riwayat daripada al-Wāqidī di dalam Fatḥ al-Bārī. Sebahagian daripada pengkaji-pengkaji ḥadis moden mempunyai kecenderungan untuk menolak riwayat al-Wāqidī secara mutlak dengan alasan beliau adalah seorang perawi yang lemah. Kecenderungan ini dilihat berbeza dengan pendirian ulama silam yang menerima riwayat al-Wāqidī apabila periwayatannya memenuhi syarat yang mereka gariskan. Antara ulama silam yang menerima periwayatan beliau dengan syarat ialah Ibn Ḥajar al-‘Asqalānī. Riwayat al-Wāqidī yang dinukilkan oleh Ibn Ḥajar dalam Fatḥ al-Bārī dianalisis untuk merumuskan metodologi Ibn Ḥajar dalam menerima periwayatan beliau. This paper aims to study the educational system in Arabic elementary schools between the past and the present systems, bearing in mind that these schools are the first solid Arabic foundations and bright concrete in which young children deal with reading the Holy Qur’an Kareem and memorizing of some Qur’anic Verses and some religious principles. Objektif kajian ini adalah bagi mengenal pasti polisi kokurikulum Ensembel Kombo Sekolah Menengah (EKSM) dan hubungan antara persepsi kefahaman polisi dalam kalangan guru pembimbing, sokongan iklim sekolah, kompetensi dan penguasaan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Muzik murid yang menyertai EKSM. Kaedah kualitatif dan kuantitatif telah dirangka dalam kajian ini bagi menjawab lima soalan kajian dan lima hipotesis. Teknik analisis dokumen diguna pakai bagi menginterpretasikan polisi berpandukan model ADEPT (Analysis of Determinants of Policy Impact). Dokumen yang dipilih ialah kertas konsep, minit mesyuarat, surat-menyurat dan buku panduan kokurikulum. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan menggunakan model PLS-SEM.
