Abstract
This phenomenological study explores the beliefs and practices of New Zealand early childhood teachers in supporting English acquisition for Asian immigrant English language learners (ELLs). The focus of the study is on the analysis of early childhood teachers' beliefs about how they can support English acquisition among Asian immigrant ELLs and how these beliefs influence the teachers' practices in early childhood education (EeE) settings. The theoretical framework of this research draws on a range of sociocultural perspectives, including (i) the sociocultural positions initially defined by Lev Vygostky (1978), (ii) the notion of guided participation articulated by Barbara Rogoff (2003), (iii) theories of second language acquisition discussed by Lantolf and Thorne (2000), and by Krashen (1982, 1985), and (iv) acculturation as addressed by Berry (2001). The main participants of this study were seven early childhood teachers and six Asian immigrant ELLs from two EeE centres. .....

Abstract
Justeru, Modul Lit-A dapat digunakan.....

Abstract

Abstract
Annotation. This study reviews methods for improving preschoolers' phonological awareness and English reading abilities from 2013 to 2023 using the PRISMA protocol. Analysing 22 articles, it identifies 11 strategies for reading development and 5 for phonological awareness. An interactive reading model is introduced, providing a unified framework to support early childhood educators in enhancing literacy skills in young learners. © 2024, Vytautas Magnus University. Abstract
This research aimed to identify the relationship between six dimensions of service quality with the parents' satisfaction in Community Development Department (KEMAS) preschool in Tanjong Malim district. The population of this study was the parents who send their children to the ten selected ofKEMAS preschools. 125 parents as the respondent to answer the questionnaires regarding the service quality provided. The research design chosen SERVQUAL instrument and added one new dimension; Islamic values. All these six dimensions; tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and Islamic values being analysed to identify the level of service quality in KEMAS preschool and the relationship towards the customer satisfaction. Correlation analysis found that all dimensions except Islamic values have significant relationship with the overall service quality. The multiple regression analysis found only responsiveness and Islamic values have significant impact towards the overall servi.....

Abstract
This study aims to develop a graphene composite modified paste electrode (GrPE) based on ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide (EMIMBr) to detect hydroquinone. The electrochemical properties of the modified electrode were determined using square wave voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The results showed that under optimal conditions, the modified electrode showed a linear concentration range of 1.0×10-6 to 1.0×10-2 M with a detection limit of hydroquinone, 2.77×10-7 M. The interferences from Ba2+, Cu2+, Na+, K+, NO3-, Cl-, SO4 2-, glycine, glucose, fructose and sucrose were negligible. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy indicated that the charge transfer at the electrode-solution interface was excellent. The proposed electrode was successfully applied to determine hydroquinone in wastewater samples and cosmetic creams with range of recovery 97 – 104%. In conclusion, the modified electrode that has been developed is able to detect hydroquinone. T.....
