This study is a survey to identify the usage of ICT in teaching and learning Mathematics in secondary schools in Batang Padang District, Perak. The aspects that identify are the interest of using ICT, usage of ICT equipment and the promblems of using ICT by the teachers in teaching and learning Mathematics. A total of 100 graduate and non graduate and also with experienced and less experienced teachers from ten schools in Batang Padang District were selected as samples for this study. The purpose of this study is to gauge the teachers interest on ICT, usage of ICT equipment and the problems they are facing when using ICT in teaching and learning Mathematics in school. For this purpose all samples were answered the questionares which were prepared by the reseacher. Datas obtained from the questionares were analyzed by SPSS (Statistical Package for the Sosial Sciences) and interpreted to fulfil the survey questions. This research is concerning the analyses study of Conjunction. The research covered the element of conjunction such as type, wrongly used conjunction and also suggestion on how to teach the conjunction correctly. The research is done by comparing the used of conjunction taken from two favorite which are Majalah Dewan Bahasa February 2006 edition and Majalah Dewan Sastera February 2006 edition. Both magazines are hot in the market and important reference to students and teachers as a main source of information regarding conjunction. Mengajar nilai murni melalui cerita rakyat di wilayah sempadan Thailand Selatan

This dissertation is a report on a research project to develop teaching materials using folktales to teach Malay language as well as positive values to Muslim Thai school children in the provinces of South Thailand. The folktales were collected using three methods, i.e. (a) through interviews with Muslim Thais in South Thailand, (b) through published and unpublished materials, and (c) through data bases in the internet. A collection of such folktales were collected from the provinces of South Thailand. 25 of them were selected after an analisis was done to ensure that they contain positive values. The folktales were adapted for use in the classroom to teach Malay. Each of them is made up of a storey for reading, followed by a series of excercises for comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and play acting. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan koswer Bahan Bantu Mengajar-Visual Audio Teaching Approach (BBM-VATA) dan mengenal pasti keberkesanannya dalam mengatasi miskonsepsi dan meningkatkan kefahaman bagi topik fasa-fasa bulan. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kuasi eksperimen dan sampel terdiri daripada 70 orang murid dari dua kelas tahun enam yang setara. Satu kelas seramai 35 orang murid mewakili kumpulan eksperimen dan satu kelas lagi seramai 35 murid mewakili kumpulan kawalan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpul data adalah satu set ujian pra dan pasca yang setara dan soal selidik. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik desktriptif dan statistik inferensi. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dalam ujian t bagi kedua kumpulan bagi menguji miskonsepsi. This is a research project aimed at building materials on the use of Malay affixes in teaching Malay. Affixes is an important part of Malay grammar. This project is divided into three parts: affixation to derive nouns, verbs and adjectives. Chapter 1 discusses how grammar is taught in shools to enable students to write and speak Malay grammatically. Chapter 2 provides a research framework. This chapter discusses the concept of grammar, i.e. which describes the constrction and structure of the words, and secondly which involves the formation sentences, and other related research works. Keberkesanan penggunaan alat bantu mengajar interaktif bagi meningkatkan kefahaman konsep pengaturcaraan dalam kalangan pelajar

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keberkesanan penggunaan alat bantu mengajar interaktif bagi meningkatkan kefahaman mengenai konsep pengaturcaraan dalam kalangan pelajar. Satu kajian berbentuk kuasi-eksperimen telah dijalankan di sebuah kolej di Perak. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 91 orang pelajar telah dipilih berdasarkan markah ujian-pra mereka. Pelajar-pelajar telah dibahagikan kepada dua kumpulan dengan menggunakan persampelan bertujuan, 53 pelajar dalam kumpulan eksperimen dan 38 orang pelajar dalam kumpulan kawalan. Semasa proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran, pelajar dalam kumpulan eksperimen telah dirawat dengan menggunakan alat bantu mengajar interaktif kontemporari manakala pelajar dalam kumpulan kawalan telah dirawat menggunakan alat bantu mengajar interaktif konvensional. Data telah dikumpulkan melalui ujian-pra dan ujian-pasca, dan ia dianalisis menggunakan ujian-t berpasangan, analisis kovarians (ANCOVA) dan analisis tematik.
