The brown bast (BB) syndrome causes a 15-20% loss of annual rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) production in Malaysia, and no sustainable remedy has been developed yet. Initial investigation showed a macronutrients deficiency in the bark of affected plants compared to non-affected plants. Therefore, this study was undertaken to know the effect of spraying the deficient macronutrients in curing BB syndrome and increasing latex productivity. The treatments were selected by adjusting deficient nutrients, especially in N, K, and S, compared to healthy plants. The treatments consisted of 13 combinations of nutrient concentrations and a control (no application on healthy rubber trees). One liter of individual treatment per tree was applied on the trunk of BB-affected trees once a week for one month. The main concern is a lack of scientific planning for photovoltaic electric vehicle charging stations (PEVCS) that considers numerous main criteria and sub-criteria. PEVCS should be strategically positioned in an appropriate and ideal location to ensure that electric vehicle (EV) users may reach the stations within their driving range. While the adoption of solar is still minimal in Malaysia, Malaysia needs to move faster to allocate the PEVCS at the strategic locations. One way to help students improve their digital reading skills is through a digital story video. The fact that students are starting to prefer digital reading materials is a good sign because it shows that they are keeping up with modern technology. Therefore, this study aims to analyze digital storytelling videos to improve the practice of reading digital materials (NILAM). The design of this study is qualitatively using document analysis and semi-structured interviews as a method of data collection. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with three study participants to examine the Reading Incentive Planning and Activity Report and school-level NILAM data. Purpose: This study aims to explore some benefits and challenges of establishing an international accreditation for teacher education institutions (TEIs) by AsTEN Quality Assurance Agency. This specific accreditation agency is expected to improve the quality of teaching, learning and research at TEIs in ASEAN region. Design/methodology/approach: The qualitative study generates data from questionnaires and online semi-structured interviews among ASEAN academics. The economic growth of developing countries always a central issue concerned by all countries because any changes in global events might influence the performance of these countries. However, there are many debates on the relations between exchange rate and inflation rate in developing countries. In present study, finite mixture model is introduced to address the nexus between exchange rate and inflation rate among Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. With this, the monthly data with 182 observations are analysed using maximum likelihood estimation. The results reveal that negative relationship existed during growth situation while no interaction exhibited when a country is trapped into crisis period. Since this study presented the financial interaction among macroeconomic variables during different situations of country, hence, it is believed that statisticians and investors can get to know more details of these variables on these developing countries.
