Kajian bertujuan untuk membangunkan dan menentukan kebolehgunaan e-modul Nutri-Learn bagi subtopik Sistem Pencernaan Biologi Tingkatan Empat. Penilaian terhadap kebolehgunaan Nutri-Learn diuji dari aspek kebergunaan, kemudahgunaan serta kepuasan penggunaan. Modul ini dibangunkan dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kajian pembangunan Ghazali dan Sufean yang berpandukan model instruksional ADDIE. Kajian kuantitatif ini menggunakan instrumen soal selidik untuk menilai kesahan dan kebolehgunaan Nutri-Learn. Kesahan Nutri-Learn dan instrumen soal selidik dijalankan melalui penilaian oleh dua orang pakar dari Jabatan Biologi. Seramai 40 orang pelajar telah dipilih secara rawak sebagai sampel kajian. Data kajian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif melalui perisian Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS). Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap pelaksanaan guru bidang sains terhadap Kemahiran Proses Sains (KPS), faktor permasalahan guru bidang sains dari segi pedagogi dan faktor permasalahan dari segi tingkah laku murid di sekolahsekolah menengah daerah Batang Padang dan Muallim. Reka bentuk kajian ini ialah kajian tinjauan . Populasi kajian ialah seramai 137 orang guru bidang namun hanya 70 orang guru bidang sains sahaja yang memberikan respon. In recent years, the occurrence of crises caused by natural disasters such as floods and landslides, and the COVID-19 pandemic have significantly disrupted the distribution of goods and services, posing immense challenges for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Therefore, this study aims to find the best strategy for MSMEs to overcome the impact of the crisis. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data was obtained from observations and interviews with 121 MSME players in Gunungkidul. This study applied the SWOT analysis to determine the best strategy for MSME, which was divided into two parts: External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) and Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS). The results showed that the score for Strength was 2.15 and for Weaknesses was 0.7, indicating that internal factors for strengths are higher than weaknesses. Abstract: The use of technology has become an essential part of modern education. This study explored the impact of the CAKE mobile app on the speaking skills learning experiences of Online Distance Learning (ODL) students and investigated their perceptions of the app. This is a qualitative study which involved 15 ODL students taking the JUE 100 Preparatory English course at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and data was collected through semi-structured interviews. The analysis of the data was conducted inductively, taking into account the participants' expressions and the researchers’ interpretations. The findings revealed that the use of the CAKE mobile app has positively impacted students' learning experiences by improving their motivation, fluency and confidence. Besides that, the students had a generally positive perception of the CAKE mobile app. The app’s updated content, use of real cartoon and movie clips and self-paced learning features were highly appreciated by the students. .....

Abstract: There is a close relationship between language and culture, and a review of the literature indicates less attention is given to the enrichment of cross-cultural and pragmatic awareness in the classrooms. The role of culture in language learning is often overlooked in language classes. The notion of cultural competencies is often derived from English-speaking countries, and though students can learn from such a perspective, it does not provide a good model for developing their cultural and pragmatic competencies. Using students’ own cultural experiences would be a good way to enhance their cultural and pragmatic competencies. Abstract: The proliferation of social media platforms has emerged as a global phenomenon. Currently, individuals spend a significant portion of their time engaging with online platforms, particularly those related to social networking. Social media sites provide students with access to a range of effective learning methods, such as automatic learning and visualization approaches. The use of social media platforms for the purpose of acquiring English language skills is both stimulating and motivational. Abstract: Remotivation is the process of restoring lost or diminished motivation by either teachers’ mediation or students’ application of self-regulating strategies. This longitudinal case study reports on the attempts to help four demotivated students renew their motivation. Students’ diaries, interviews, questionnaires, classroom observation and field notes were used to collect data. All cases attributed their loss of motivation to primarily external factors and two cases attributed it to internal causes too. Once demotives were identified, motivational strategies were employed for eight months. Overall, the findings suggested that demotivated students’ motivational beliefs could be worked on: it could be brought into surface and negotiated with subsequent positive effects on their motivational autonomy. Abstract This study aimed at investigating challenges and perceptions of virtual learning among ESL teachers in secondary schools during the pandemic, COVID-19. A quantitative research method was used that used a survey for data collection. The instrument involved was a questionnaire created using Google Forms and distributed via social media. The sample was selected randomly and comprised 50 secondary school English language teachers in Malaysia. A descriptive analysis was carried out using SPSS software 2.5 to find the overall level of agreement in terms of frequencies and percentages.
