Essential oil composition of strychnos axillaris colebr. (loganiaceae)
Wan Mohd Nuzul Hakimi Wan Salleh
The essential oil composition from the leaves of Strychnos axillaris Colebr. (Loganiaceae) growing in Malaysia was examined for the first time. The essential oil was obtained by hydrodistillation and fully characterized by gas chromatography (GC-FID) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). In total, 15 components were identified in the essential oil, which made up 87.2% of the total oil. The essential is composed mainly of ?-ionone (20.2%), ?-ionone (19.5%), bicyclogermacrene (19.2%), and geranyl acetate (10.2%). ? 2021, Badebio Biotechnololgy Ltd. All rights reserved...

Esential oil composition of garcinia nigrolineata planch. ex T. Anderson (Clusiaceae)
Wan Mohd Nuzul Hakimi Wan Salleh
The present study aims to examine the chemical composition of the essential oils of the leaves of Garcinia nigrolineata. The essential oil was extracted by hydrodistillation and characterized by gas chromatography (GC-FID) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). In total, 37 chemical components were identified in the essential oil which made up 98.3 % of the total oil composition. The essential oil is composed mainly of ?-caryophyllene (25.2 %), ?-humulene (12.8 %), valencene (6.2 %), ?-cadinol (5.8 %), and germacrene D (5.5 %). To the best of the authors? knowledge, this is the initial study that has looked into the essential oil composition of Garcinia nigrolineata collected from Malaysia. ? 2021, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering. E-readiness measurement tool: scale development and validation in a Malaysian higher educational context
Goh, Pauline Swee Choo
Increasing complexity towards harnessing the power of ICT on all levels has created uncertainty about higher educational technological capabilities and adequate strategies to develop e-readiness. In this study, an empirically grounded higher education e-readiness questionnaire in the domain of higher education was developed and validated. Exploratory factor analysis (n =120) followed by confirmatory factor analysis (n =336) was done which was presented in two forms; covariance model and the structural model. The covariance model showed that the 5 indicators (?Innovativeness?, ?Infrastructure?, ?Collaboration?, ?Learning flexibility?, ?Student experience?) and assigned 24 items were important e-readiness dimensions from the learners? point of view. The structural models validated the previously extracted factors along with their indicators. As a practical tool, the e-readiness tool could assist institutions towards identifying issues that contribute towards e-readiness thereby for.....
