| 6044 | 2021 Article | Evolutionary programming and multi-verse optimization based technique for risk-based voltage stability control Musirin Ismail Power system these days appears to work at high-stress load, which could trigger voltage security problems. This is due to the fact that the system will operate under low voltage conditions, which could be possibly below the allowable voltage limit. The voltage collapse phenomenon can become one of the remarkable issues in the power systems which can lead to severe consequences of voltage instability. This paper proposes a method for managing the voltage stability risk using two methods which are evolutionary programming (EP) and multiverse optimization (MVO). Consequently, EP and MVO were used to manage the risk in the power system due to load variations. The risk assessment is made in order to determine the risk of collapse for the system utilizing a pre-developed voltage stability index termed as Fast Voltage Stability Index (FVSI). It is used as the indicator of voltage stability conditions. Results obtained from the study revealed that the MVO technique is much more effective comp..... 1014 hits |
| 6045 | 2021 Article | Evidence of recovery from the restriction movement order by Mann Kendall during the covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia Azman Azid At the end of December 2019, China faced severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus-2 (COVID-19) which caused a "very high" risk assessment ranking. Unfortunately, it has spread all over the world and has caused a great number of fatalities. In view of this, a study of the non-parametric statistical method was carried out with the aim of detecting and quantifying the outbreak of COVID-19. From the univariate analysis, daily cases had the highest mean value indicating widespread data from the outbreak of COVID-19 in Malaysia. However, the worst output in the future during the RMO must be prepared with the help of the Government of Malaysia's Ministry of Health due to the high standard deviation value recorded. In addition, the western coast of Malaysia has been reported to have the most in comparison with the other regions. The Mann-Kendal test shows a declining trend pattern for new cases during RMO3 compared to RMO1, RMO2 and RMO4, with a dramatic increase in the Covid-19 outbreak ..... 714 hits |
| 6046 | 2021 Article | Evaluation of generated bootstrap weight in layer perceptron for Southeast Asia visitors during COVID19 outbreak Siti Fatihah The pandemic COVID-19 effected the global business sector include the tourism industry. Forecasting the visitor arrival from Southeast Asia is a vital for organized the economy impact at Malaysia state, particularly during this outbreak. Neural network family has been substantial approaches in tourism and the economy. The layer perceptron is a part of the neural network model which is used to produce accurate forecasting. However, the inherent biasness in the perceptron algorithm could lead to an underfitting problem which eventually leads to poor performance of forecast accuracy. The motivation of this study is to improve the accuracy of single-layer perceptron in forecasting the Southeast Asia visitors in Malaysia during COVID19. In this study, the bootstrap weights are generated at the hidden layer to reduce the biasness in output layer. The forecasting result of generated bootstrap weight model is compared with conventional perceptron model in terms of small bias estimation. The st..... 871 hits |
