Pembelajaran stoikiometri tingkatan empat berasaskan analogi dengan berbantukan multimedia

The purpose of this research is to develop a chemistry learning courseware that incorporates analogy. The topic selected for this research is ‘stoichiometry’ in the form 4 syllabus. The learning courseware produced is known as ‘Perisian Multimedia Stoikiometri berasaskan Analogi (PM2SA)’. In the development of the courseware, problems and weaknesses in the learning of stoichiometry were identified and suitable analogies for each concept were provided. A quasi-experimental approach of ‘non-randomized control group, pretest-posttest’ design was used in this research. The samples were 64 students consisting of 32 students for the experiment group and control group respectively. The experimental group used PM2SA (software with analogy) whereas the control group used PM2STA (software without analogy). The result for the t-test analysis showed that there was significant difference between the pretest and posttest result for both of the groups (p = 0.001, at the significant level .....

Pembinaan dan keberkesanan penggunaan perisian multimedia elektrokimia dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran kimia tingkatan 4

In this study, the researcher developed a courseware, Perisian Multimedia Elektrokimia (PME) and studied its effectiveness as a learning aid. PME has been designed to be consistent with the form four chemistry syllabus for electrochemistry. The methodology for PME was based on the model designed by Allessi and Trollip (2001). Tutorial was used as the main pedagogical approach, while drill and practice, and simulation complete the scenario. PME was developed systematically based on behaviourism, cognitive and constructivism learning theories. Authorware 6.5 was used as the main programming software, while Macromedia Flash 5 was used to develop the animation elements. A questionaire was administered among the chemistry teachers in the district of Batang Padang secondary schools. They gave positive evaluation on PME. The effectiveness of PME as a learning aid was examined through a quasi experimental study carried out on 60 form four students from a secondary school in the district of Bat.....

The praimary objective of this research is to analyse user satisfaction towards a prototype software called Perisian Multimedia Info GERKO among teachers trainee in three(3)TeacherTraining Collages/Institutes in north peninsular of Malaysia. This quantitative study is among trainee teachers in Maktab/Institut Perguruan Perlis (MPP), Maktab/Institut Perguruan Tuanku Bainun (MPTB) and Maktab/Institut Perguruan Ipoh Perak (MPIP). The sampel are among 238 trainee teachers from five (5) uniform units namely, Pergerakan Pandu Puteri Malaysai (PPPM), Pergerakan Puteri Islam Malaysia (PPIM), Pertubuhan Pengakap Malaysia, Pasukan Bulan Sabit Merah (PBSM) and St John Ambulans Malaysia (SJAM). The effectiveness of using multimedia applications on student performance in vocabulary learning

Advancement in computer technology has triggered the development of multimedia CALL programs which can present information in different formats using graphics, text, and video with links to other types of information. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of two multimedia CALL programs on vocabulary acquisition. Samples of the study were 86 intermediate level English as a second language (ESL) students. They were randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups. Students in group one viewed a program with Motion Graphics and text. Students in group two viewed a program that had Still Graphics and text. Their task was to study ten names of hand and power tools. Both groups took the pretest, viewed the video on the tools, and had an immediate posttest and a two-week delayed posttest. The purpose of this project is to develop a guaranteed quality of service management systems for multimedia network based on mobile agent. The system which is built as an e-Learning kit consists of a computer software for video streaming Lecture-on-Demand (LoD) via internet with guaranteed quality of service. A number of research methodologies and design have been employed to develop this product. A survey was conducted to increase the validity of the instrument utilized; while a system analysis was used to gather information on quality of service for multimedia network over internet. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kesan pembelajaran berasaskan simulasi dengan pelbagai strategi Multimedia Instructional Message (MIM) terhadap prestasi dan bebanan kognitif pelajar yang berbeza pengetahuan sedia ada dan tahap gaya pembelajaran visual. Penilaian dilakukan melalui ujian pos, soal-selidik gaya pembelajaran Felder-Silverman dan ujian bebanan kognitif NASA TLX. Manakala, tiga strategi MIM ialah imej statik bercetak (ISB), imej statik paparan komputer (ISD) dan imej dinamik dalam bentuk animasi (IDA). Reka bentuk kajian berbentuk eksperimen kuasi dan data kajian dianalisis melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan ujian statistik ANCOVA, ANOVA dan regresi digunakan untuk menjawab persoalanpersoalan kajian. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangun perisian multimedia bagi pengajaran dan pembelajaran berbantu komputer serta menilai keberkesanannya terhadap pencapaian murid bermasalah pendengaran dalam mata pelajaran Pembantu Penyedia Makanan. Dalam proses pembangunan, kebolehgunaan perisian multimedia diuji dan dinilai oleh enam orang guru mata pelajaran Pembantu Penyedia Makanan dengan menggunakan borang penilaian. Keberkesanan perisian multimedia pula diuji dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kajian eksperimen kuasi yang mana dua kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran berbeza dilaksanakan iaitu kaedah konvensional bagi kumpulan kawalan dan kaedah berbantu komputer bagi kumpulan rawatan. Data pencapaian murid dikumpul dengan menggunakan ujian pra dan ujian pasca. Tujuan penyelidikan ini ialah untuk membangunkan dan menguji sebuah Perisian Kursus Multimedia untuk Pendidikan Seni Visual (APH-Pensil), berasaskan teori Asas Seni Reka. Pembangunan perisian kursus tersebut adalah berdasarkan metodologi kitar hayat pembangunan yang bergelar KHAPH-Pensil. Kaedah pembangunan tersebut merangkumi lima fasa seperti: Analisis, Reka Bentuk, Pembangunan, Implimentasi dan Penilaian. Fasa-fasa tersebut diintegrasikan dengan pelbagai entiti yang berkaitan khusus dengan teori Asas Seni Reka. Penekanan perisian ini ialah terhadap salah satu topik dalam pendidikan seni visual (PSV), iaitu logo, bagi pelajar Tingkatan empat.
