The dichloromethane crude extract from stem bark of Alseodaphne perakensis (Lauraceae) yielded two hernagine type of aporphine alkaloids namely oxohernagine and N-methylhernagine. The isolation and purification of these alkaloids were achieved using Column Chromatography (CC) and Preparative Thin Layer Chromatography (PTLC) techniques.
